Stopped here with my family after turtle playground and before heading to the zoo. Great choice! It was a simple, unfussy vibe. Staff was so friendly (we're from out of town and they pointed us towards some STL staples). The food was great and affordable. That Mac and cheese, though! Stellar. I didn't have anything to drink, but by the look of the bar, they had a huge selection. Great for adults and families. Well worth the stop!

I had such a wonderful time playing live music here! My family came and enjoyed the food and drinks while I played. All of the staff was very sweet. I would love to come back!

This place used to be safe for the LGBTQIA community. Their recent fundraising for a know bigot (Bill Eigel), is a clear sign that they are no longer that place. The city of St. Louis deserves better. Spend your money at O'Connell's Pub or John D. McGurk's.

Decided to take a political platform, will NEVER eat here again. Absolute garbage new owners, don't seem to know what neighborhood they are in. Go back to the county.

UPDATE: While I understand they cannot respond to every comment, it really does seem like the new owner has stopped investing in this storied restaurant. The reviews tell a sad story. I really hope they can turn it around, but it almost seems like the new owner doesn't want to, or doesn't know how. Sad, but it's a cutthroat business.

I hope it was just an off day, but the food was significantly worse than the last time we'd gone in early 2023, before the new owner took over. The once massive fried chicken sandwich looked small and sad. My burger was just average. Fries were barely cooked. The only saving graces were a cool waitress and a really solid happy hour domestic bucket special. It's a bummer, but I hope they can rally.
