Chicken pot pie is excellent. Pot roast delicious. Pineapple upside down cake is so good. They have many items frozen that you can buy and take home for later.

After starting the day with a 33° temp, I couldn't think of a better dish than a belly warming chicken pot pie. Piccadilly on Manhattan, how am I just learning of your culinary, comfort, classics? This pot pie exceeded all expectations and took me back to being a kid at grandma's house.
The crisp, flakey crust, the creaminess, and chunks of tender chicken was sooo deelish, I bought 2 frozen to take home. I look forward to many more visits to work my way through the menu.

I don't give perfect scores. The food is always great and the servers are friendly and attentive. As long as Piccadilly is there, we will continue to return.

Finally got to try the seafood pot pie! It was SO GOOD!!! I would highly recommend trying it out. They only serve it on Fridays though so plan accordingly!

Okaaaaaaaaayyyyy. How come I have lived in St. Louis my entire life (minus 6 years) and never heard about the Piccadilly at Manhattan until this year?!?
I have only been here twice and it is a hidden gem! The fried chicken inspired me to make some of my own attempting my grandmother's recipe. I can't say that I get so inspired by food that I want to go back to the archives of delicious to compare notes on the ancestral goodness I remember. I'm guessing that Chicken pot pie is something they are known for- the t-shirts are a reminder of this, and the pot pie itself comes out looking like a cartoon, perfectly golden brown crust, and steam rising.
They also have a Cuban, Mayfair salad (OMG), BBQ rib tips (special the day we were there) and steak is available on Saturday nights. The menu is small but reads well and I admire its simplicity. It covers a lot of ground for being small. I think a group of diverse eaters would all be happy with their choices. Also, don't think that everything is so old school. Some of the salads and other dishes are more inventive and updated to dining style these days. Everything feels handmade, especially the seasonal fruit cobblers. I'm pretty sure everything is made on premises and I will update when I find out!
The interior feels well trafficked but clean and bright. When you walk in, you feel welcome right away, greeted at the host stand. This isn't the type of place where you place an order and wonder what happened 30 minutes later. I have been there not when it's super busy, but can tell that the staff is fluid enough to cover all the bases with the diners.
The dining room isn't large but there are also outdoor options. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but I don't think I'd wear flip flops in. The servers wear t-shirts and there are no tablecloths, but that's just the way it is. The food is top notch and I look forward to returning soon.

Service and the food were tremendous!
Limited seating inside (maybe 5 tables). There is outdoor seating on the street side of the building and there’s a rear patio seating. But be careful of how you walk. The painted smooth concrete is extremely slick with womens and men’s smooth dress shoes soles. Found out the hard way. Why they don’t use a carpeted walk way or had a sand texture for safety is beyond reason!

I tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. I tried the smoked Cuban sandwich with fries. The sandwich was a good size, very tasty, and filling. The fries were cooked to perfection, crisp and delicious. Online ordering and pick up was simple. I'd eat here again!
