I had a great experience tonight at the Preston. The vibe was really nice inside.. The bartender, Madeline, was helpful, attentive, and very pleasant to deal with. She recommended me a drink with Passionfruit syrup in, which I was skeptical of (most Passionfruit drinks really overdo it), but it ended up being very lovely - well balanced, perfectly sweet and not overly tart.

I ordered the Pretzel croissants as an appetizer, which came with a very nice cream-cheese...

Great ambience and attentive service. It wasn't busy so easy to get a reservation on a Saturday night before hitting the cinema in the plaza. However, the menu was a bit “maximalist” for my taste. I ordered the chicken dish which was chicken stuffed with sausage, duck pate, fingerling potatoes, asparagus, pesto and blackberry jam.
