Spent Valentine’s Day dinner here. Highly recommend. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Will be back to try the regular menu.

No one noted or mentioned I was celebrating my boyfriends birthday. Brian the waiter was nice. Menu sparse. Drinks were good. There were two mice running around the dining floor for several min before we left.
Great service and food. Our server was perfect as was Sarah in the bar - best steak I've had in a while.
The Tenderloin Room was perfect! Still decorated for the holidays, it was so pretty. Our waiter, Ryan was adorable and attentive without hovering. The food was fabulous and I recommend the spinach - it was the best. My steak was cooked to perfection - medium rare and my husband loved the salmon. We were celebrating with friends and did not feel rushed to finish our meal. It was relaxing atmosphere.
We've had New Year's Eve early dinner there for the last 4 years. It has always been wonderful!
What a beautiful restaurant. Our server was very busy and was very concerned about a nearby large group and not so much us. Food was good but not very hot, which was disappointing. Not sure about returning
It'a a lovely space, service was amazing...the food was good. I am not a fan of the chef cutting up my steak in slices. The prices are high, and everything is à la cart so a $90 steak doesn't come with anything. Potatoes and salad don't cost much, throw it in! We made a reservation and sat by the kitchen door and above the waitress station on a night that wasn't busy.
The menu at the Tenderloin Room is superb, and the presentation is magnificent. My favorite is surf and turf, and the way the lobster tail sits atop the filet mignon is pure artistry. If you want something special, try the smoked old fashioned that has the letter “T” carved into the big ice cube. The aroma alone is worth the cost. My favorite place to go for date night, or any special occasion.
Don't let them seat you in the upper dining area. Lower areas looked to have more ambiance.
We had a very special anniversary dinner and received excellent service! The ambiance was great. The food was delicious, but also very rich.... enough so, that I'm not sure we would choose this restaurant again.

My husband and I have been enjoying dinner at The Tenderloin Room since college and could not wait to eat there, again, after living out of state for the past three years. It's still the same beautiful space but the quality of the food has drastically declined, while the prices have increased, more than what the food is worth. My husband's $72 8oz pepperloin filet was almost flavorless and the mashed potatoes tasted like burnt garlic. My husband wanted to chat with the bartender to help him decide between a few cocktails and a person who we think was the manager came over instead and was less than enthusiastic to help him. Sadly, this meal put an end to our decades of enjoyment at The Tenderloin Room.
The TR is a great place whether you are a beef eater or prefer fish. Two of us had their scallops and two had the pork chop; every one of us were pleased. We sat next to an adorable party of young women who celebrated their friendship with a gift grab. All in all a great evening!
this was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time dining out. It was a special excursion I planned for my husband's birthday. Both of us remarked the food, setting, service (Ryan was amazing) was fabulous. Thank you, Thank you!
It was good as usual. My only real issue was that they were out of the 8 oz tenderloins, had only one 10 oz left, and were also out of the strip steaks. They were also out of two of the half-bottles of wine that we ordered. Seems like poor planning for a pace called the Tenderloin Room to be out of their signature steaks. Otherwise it was quite nice.
We have not eaten at the Tenderloin Room in several years and we forgot how wonderful the food and service is at this historic restaurant. We will be back!!
