It's a new off and running establishment. I feel the owner is working very had to make it a success. A few hiccups but, the food and customer service is always excellent. Each time I visit, I'm pleased with what I've purchased. You're on the right track owner.

They never and I mean never answer the phone. And they don’t give you a lot of food at all for the price… the sides are in a small sauce container and they need more seasoning everything seemed just

I visited this establishment for the 1st time after Googling Soul Food Restaurants near me. After looking & reading their website I decided to check them out, because I like exploring new food establishments.I visited Wild Rose on 5/2/23, I had to wait for them to open eventhough they had signs posted up saying they were open. I proceeded to knock on the door, because it was locked, a lady came to the door & unlocked it & explained to me that she wouldn't be open until 1pm & that she was in the process of preparing everything. I understood & told her that I had no problem waiting. I went back up at 1:15pm after sitting in the parking lot for an hour & the lady unlocked the door & let me in & said that she had everything ready except the Mac & Cheese & that it had a few more minutes. I told her "no problem, I was willing to wait". She asked me what I would like & I proceeded to place 2 orders for Dinners. The 1st order was Fried Catfish Filets, & 2 sides which were Green Beans & Dressing. The 2nd order was going to be another Catfish Dinner until I asked her if she had Fried Pork Chops & she said that she did & that it would take a few mins to prepare them. I didn't mind waiting at all, I had been wanting Fried Pork Chops, my 2 sides were Mac & Cheese & Sweet Potatoes. The lady remembered Onions, Pickles, & Bread for the Catfish Dinner. This is my honest opinion of "Wild Rose" & what they have to offer. Being that I worked as a Head Chef & Kitchen Mgr. at various restaurants around the area for many yrs, I fully understand the Food Service business & Hospitality. My Sweet Potatoes were very tasty, they actually taste like they were seasoned just like U would season a Sweet Potato Pie. My only complaint would be I needed a bigger size portion of them, because the portion I had went too fast(Lol). The Mac & Cheese was surprisingly very good, it honestly reminded me of my Mother's Mac & Cheese. We all know that everybody can't make Mac & Cheese, it's more than just preparing Pasta & throwing Cheese Sauce on it. Again my only complaint would be it wasn't enough(Lol). I probably could've ate half of her pan(Lol). It was not overly cheesy, it was prepared just right. Now, for the Pork Chops, they were on point, not burned. They were nice size Pork Chops, nice golden brown color.Overall the Dinner was very tasty & I do plan on returning, because I have to try the Homemade Dinner Rolls & the Sweet Potato Pie & I will probably order the Pork Chops again(The meal was that good!!). I might have to try the Peach Cobbler also. I'm curious if she has Banana Pudding or Pound Cake?? The interior of the place was nice, comfortable, & homey. It was like a Cafe or even a very small Banquet Room. I thought Wild Rose was just a lil' pricey, but if the food comes out tasting like what I had on my 1st visit then I'm willing to pay the price. Consistency is the key!!! Continue putting out flavorful Soul Food & keep upping ur game & most importantly putting ur heart & soul in it & the people will come!!!1 side note: I almost passed the place up, because it sits all the way on the end of a strip, like in the corner. I think they need better signage & advertising. Maybe have a colorful sign that attracts ur eyes & maybe try running a ad on a radio station? Word of mouth is good, but it can only reach so many people whereas a radio ad can hit thousands & maybe even millions of people.Parking: Eventhough there are other businesses in the strip, their are plenty of parking spaces.

The food was overpriced . But I was willing to pay if it was worth it … it wasn’t . I got a plate of found that gave off “cooked 2 days ago , reheated in microwave and served “None of my food was fresh . Sweet potatoes tasted like perfume and dressing was crumbly sage . Let’s just say if I never eat this food again ..: I won’t complain
