This is what the cozy STL “neighborhood bar” should be. Cash only (with ATM) but super quick and friendly service, good tap selection, really good music and atmosphere. If your Spotify daylist is telling you to seek therapy, this place might be your vibe.I haven’t tried the food, but some friends did and all said it was great.

The perfect neighborhood bar/hang out. Great drink selection and prices. The customers are all friendly and the bartender was awesome and attentive. Also if you want food then the restaurant next door will bring your food over once you order. 100%

Went to the Tick Tock Tavern for the first time and I’m sad for all the time I hadn’t spent there since I’ve lived in the city. What a fantastic place! The decor is a delight to look at and the staff were friendly. Will be back.

Great place. Cash only, but they have an ATM. Good beer selection and great vibes. They even have a game room in the back if you need a place to meet for TTRPGs.

A favorite among my friends for casual drinks. Great service. Fun neighborhood vibe. Connected to Buzz's Hawaiian next door, which has awesome food.

Upfront: cash only!! Really good, chill vibes. It's definitely a bar for just hanging out. There wasn't loud music or screens going, and my group was able to just sit and talk uninterrupted. The other people in the bar (couldn't tell if they were regulars or random drop ins) were also friendly. If you wanted to stick to yourself, that was fine, but it also seemed like it could be a place to have bar talk with strangers. I rarely carry cash (they do have an atm), so I don't know how often I'll be back, but I really liked this place!

Bar is cash only. They've got a great selection of local on tap beers and an awesome patio.

Fun little neighborhood bar. We sat in a room with board games and quizzed each other with trivial pursuit cards. Only downside is it's cash only at the bar so be prepared. They make good drinks though, I was thrilled to be able to get an aperol spritz

Super friendly neighborhood bar. There is a connecting business with Hawaiian food if you get snacky. It’s cash only for the bar so be prepared for that. They do have an ATM. Porch, back areas and bar seating.

A true neighborhoos dive and I say that as the highest compliment. Cheap but good drinks. Regulars at the bar. People playing board games in the booths. People eating Buzz' Hawaiian food from next door around the firepits in the back. Remember to bring cash and you'll have a great night!

This is a small and very charming bar on Magnolia. I guess some would call this a dive bar. I think it's a gem. It's a bar that I'm sure neighbors frequent. The decor is great and I wished I had taken more pictures but they were busy. Drinks are not expensive at all. Lots of classic cocktails, good selection of beer. Want something to eat? There is a place right next door! All cash so bring money. Not sure if the food place is all cash. They have an ATM inside if you come without. Cheers P.S. the bartenders are so funny and nice. Tip them well!!

The Tick Tock Tavern is one of our favorite bars in STL. You feel right at home and everyone from the staff to the other bar patrons are great. Its kind of like Cheers, but in St. Louis. Still my favorite bar in St. Louis.
