I tried ordering some sandwiches to keep it simple, but they turned out to be a soggy mess. Part of it was my fault; I misread the directions as saying that you were supposed to cook them from frozen, but you actually have to thaw them first. Still, I don't think there's a good way to thaw frozen sandwiches.
So here's my take. First, the cost of a few sandwiches was so high that I should've just gone to Jimmy Johns. Second, the food wasn't fresh: the sandwiches arrived pre-assembled but frozen. Third, it didn't even save me any time: thawing the sandwiches was a time-consuming nightmare (see below).
After trying to thaw the sandwiches using the cooking directions (again, my fault) it didn't work. There were still chunks of ice between the slices of meat while the bread was crunchy and the cheese melted. To get the sandwiches to be edible, I had to take them apart and heat the insides separately through trial and error. Even after they were suitably thawed, since they came with mustard pre-applied, the thawed sandwiches were just a soggy, unappetizing mess. My kids would hardly touch them. I ate them, and felt sick in my stomach afterwards.
Maybe some of the other items are better. However, the high prices and the frozenness of the food are a turn-off for me. If you're trying for the first time, be sure to order something that thaws well.

First meal I tried was very bland. I'm not sure about the ingredients. They are very heavy in sodium. Another concern is if sauces, gravies, etc., are actually homemade or if they are a concoction made up of processed ingredients. They taste processed. It was the chicken cobbler.
Great quality of meats and other ingredients. Fun, relaxed atmosphere. Staff helpful and friendly, as well as the other customers. Took my 30 yr grandson again, for his bday gift. TFD has the process down to perfection.

We love prepping meals so much here that we have made it a monthly family outing. They have made it so fast and easy. The food and quality is very good. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Menus always have plenty of options. I highly recommend making this a regular outing!

I recently recovered from breast cancer surgery, and several friends brought meals from Time for Dinner. Delicious! I was able to pay it forward for another survivor, and she loved the parmesan chicken, green beans and cookies! The sales associate was kind and helped me to my car.
