I have been passing by this place for a while now, saying that I was going to stop and go in. Well, this day I finally made it. I went in and instantly started to turn and leave, and I should have, but I didn't. There were some people sitting at the counter waiting on their orders so I went over to see if they had a menu any were. I got the menu and ordered a porksteak and baked beans and a beer. They had a beer dispensary that I wanted a beer from but the girl said it didn't work and then she showed me a box of wine and said thats what they had. She then said they had Corona so i said ill take that and she brought it out in a small glass and it tasted flat as hell. Now mind you the bbq grills outside are smoking and the owner is going out constantly doing something with them. I waited damn mew 30 minutes on a dried out, no fat on it porksteak with no flavors. You talking about a disappointed ? mad soul. All this time I wasted thinking about coming to this restaurant to only be ultimately disappointed!

The food is always good. I am so glad that it's within waking distance from where I live. The turkey ribs were just ok and you only get three small ribs and one side for a price that is too high, imo. The buffalo fish is delicious, tho.

Not really much to say. The fish was ok. It was lightly seasoned. I didn't like my Mac n cheese because it wasn't cheesy enough. That's my preference though. However. I will return because there are some other items on the menu that I would like to try on my next visit.

Being a tourist...it was the only place open. It was expensive and mediocre at best. 2 fish filets $18.67. With pptato salad. U want a different side it's $5. Took 45 mins to get the fish. It's not a clean environment. I did not enjoy the shady atmosphere.

I was driving downtown St. Louis area when I notice and smelled good SMOKED FOOD ? yes all my teeth was showing. Tootie's is the name of this restaurant so I doubled back what about an hour later to gave it a try...I'll start with the sidesI love that she/Tootie's had all those kind of side(s)they are good portion size ??.As for the flavor it lacked in flavor...Collar Green- cooked good flavor lackedGreen beans- cooked good flavor lackedBaked beans cooked good flavor goodNow for the Smoked meat I hadRibs was very tender which good for me seasoned was good enough meaning it wasn't salty or under seasoned but it wasn't that rib season I was expecting, it was good that's what make them different I give them a ?? Ribs was a bit small but it probably was just that one don't matter much oh yes I had I sauce on the side. Now for the Smoked chicken I was disappointed in the smoked chicken mainly because it was over cooked, burnt to the point where I couldn't taste no meat. ??So overall I'll go back I want to try more of her food I'd give her a 3.8 out of 5 which is good for me. She's just starting as of last year so people go support

The aroma of ribs on the smoker will draw you in!! Sadly they weren't ready when were there (time constraints) but the Polish sausages and burgers we had were delicious! The ribs are typically ready around 1pm! Will go again! Staff was welcoming!

The aroma from the grill outside was what drew me to this place. I walked in a was greeted by a lovely worker, whose name I didn’t catch but she was so nice and she answered my questions. I am an avid potato lover so I judge potatoes pretty hard and this backed potato was delicious, I got it to go so it probably was because of that, that it wasn’t a full 10/10 I wanted more sour cream and cheese but I could’ve asked for that. I got the corn on the cob and may I just say- absolutely to die for. I also got the baked beans which were a bit too hot temperature wise but I could also let them cool down so that’s on me.

Nice spot close to City Park, so it’s certainly convenient to stop by for a bite before or after a soccer game. Service was a little slow but the wait was worth it for the chicken wings ?

So I got the rib tip plate. Nothing about this taste grilled, more like oven baked and day old meat too. Meat very hard, not tender, alot of gristle plus sauce is super sweet. Definitely not worth 20 bucks, dont get much. Didnt like it, won't be going back. FYI it's only early afternoon 12:45 to be exact

We had a girls trip in STL and decided to stop at Tootie’s because we smelled a good aroma of BBQ driving by. Needless to say the BBQ ribs I ordered was not really smoked, but possibly boiled than put on a smoker. The greens were wonderful great seasoning! My friends ordered tacos, nachos, and a burger and definitely I recommend ordering another entree. Not much seasoning on the meat on both the tacos and nachos. Service was quite slow and the wait on the food was extremely long. My friends and I supported the establishment, but we would not return again.

I went twice around January and the food was awesome! It’s now March and they have new cooks in the kitchen, the food was not good. The chicken was half fried it looked like frog legs. The baked beans taste like pork and beans and hotdogs in the microwave. Customer service was great but the only thing I would recommend is the strawberry pudding and Moscato. Everything else has been a no for me. If you see the guy with the dread locs turn back around lbvs
