I had lunch here on a slow day. The crab Rangoon were tasty and well-filled. I also ordered the lunch special, which was miso soup and a choice of 2 rolls. It was $13-14. The fish tasted fresh. Based on my one experience, I rate the food delicious. I would add another star if I felt like I was at all welcomed. I felt rushed to order my food. Nobody seemed happy to be there. Maybe it was just a slow day and they were hoping for more business. I will return based upon the quality of the food.

Door in the meal I had to remind myself I was in St. Louis many miles from any ocean. The prices I considered high. The service was average. Atmosphere is a strip mall sushi restaurant. Do while I usually get chyrashi, I opted for spicy tuna roll and a special salmon roll this time cuz the chyrashi was pretty expensive. First thing I noticed the rolls weren't rolled too tight. Impossible to pick up with chopsticks as they would fall apart, marginally successful with my fingers, had to use a fork to eat them. All the components were, fish was acceptable, but nothing over the top.

Absolutely amazing food, best sushi I've had in years. Spent about $23 after tax and tip on two rolls. So worth it I'm absolutely coming back regularly! And if you live close they deliver.
Lady waiter was super hostile and unprofessional gave dirty looks and extremely unkind.

I thought the place was maybe 3 stars on their best day but I can’t figure out why so many positive reviews so I need to bring the average down a little. I don’t think I heard one nice greeting when I arrived or when I left. Nobody smiled, I found the place to be quite dirty as you can see in some of the pictures. My table was extremely sticky and I asked them to wipe it down and she just moved me to another table. She got defensive and tried to tell me that it’s not that they didn’t wipe it down, it’s just the finish on the wood, but I could literally see the rings from the plates of the last person that sat at the table. They’ve got these nasty curtains to separate rooms which has to be a breeding ground for Bacteria. The bathroom doesn’t look like it gets cleaned very often, but that probably explains why every floor in the restaurant was very sticky.

This was a mixed experience. Our entrees were delicious and my wife's sushi was very good. However, we ordered the tempura crab, and you only get like one crab. The rest are a bunch of tempura vegetables. You'd think that a dish with name Tempura Softshell Crab would come with more than one crab, espcially considering its peice tag. I'll never get it again.
Also, our server was very rude and disinterested. She wasn't pleasant until she brought the check. My wife liked it much more than I did, so we might come back if she has a craving.
