Topgolf St. Louis - Midtown

This past weekend, we were visiting St. Louis for the Presidents’ Day volleyball tournament and decided at the last minute to plan an outing for the girls before heading back home. We stopped by Topgolf St. Louis Midtown location to see if they could place the bays we booked side-by-side.

We were assisted by Neb, and even though they were nearly fully booked that evening, she went above and beyond to accommodate our group and ensured our bays were next to each other. When we arrived at our reserved time, another parent with two additional players wanted to join us, and the staff once again stepped in and made it happen. They were able to add that bay and another one for the parents so that, in total, we had five bays together.

The parents and players had an amazing time. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations especially given how last-minute everything was.

If we are ever in St. Louis again, we definitely know where we’ll be going!

I'm not sure why this place has a 4.2 rating. Absolutely perfect experience and service here. Top of the line too. One thing only to complain about is that the golf clubs were extremely sticky and dirty but that's about it. Other than that it was absolutely perfect and the music is also perfect.

Positives:
Not a bad top golf facility! Pretty clean, really nice folks at the front desk, great game playing experience (even though it was raining).

Negatives:
A worker (who might’ve been a manager) came to bring a drink to our bay and spilled it all over the table, leaving the garnish on the ground as well. Rather than apologizing or offering to remake the drink, this worker decided to get angry and leave our bay without saying a word, drink still spilled everywhere. We had to clean it up with our table silverware napkins - not a great experience and not really inclined to go back.

It feels bad because our actual server was decent.

Had a great experience here for a friend's birthday. The staff is incredible! Thank you to our waiter Patrick! Wasn't too impressed with the nachos however, needed more cheese. Had a great time. The facility is clean and well maintained. Also feels very safe here with all the security.

Normally have never had a poor experience at this location. Went around 9pm for late night fun and dinner. Our server “C.W” was not what we normally expect when we visit a TopGolf, we were rushed through our experience being told that we were “taking up space in a bay” while the rest of the floor we were on was relatively quiet along with The other bays in her section. Our food was amazing but wasn’t given the time and opportunity to enjoy it and the atmosphere. Unfortunately after leaving it felt like not only a waste of money but the time we decided to spend date night at.

The service started off good at first but when the food came out, my wings I ordered was over cooked hard & my friends cheese looked sweaty like it was sitting for a while . We was sitting talking then when we got done with our game , our waiter (Jake.. Caucasian… long dark hair.. 2nd floor) tried to kick us out & then finally said he had a reservation right after us .. when there was several tables open behind us?… so we had to leave when I wasn’t even finished eating after spending $150.. highly annoyed. WONT BE COMING BACK !

Great Top Golf - easy to get to from anywhere around the St Louis Area. Super friendly staff, great food, speedy service. They were also very accommodating to my nephew with food allergies and allowed him to bring in his own food. Great for kids and adults.

We went on a Monday in January (MLK Day) and they had great pricing. Even though it was breezy and 20ish degrees, the heaters kept us warm.

Me and my fiancé are four kids came there Saturday night, we got on a waitlist which was 45 mins. We sat down and grabbed drinks and waited. We finally got our station and went there got everybody signed in and started playing it only allowed us to have 41 minutes. We got drink refills and ordered one appetizer and was 30 minutes into it when they asked if we were gonna be Adding more time we said yes we haven’t even ordered dinner yet. The weight just came back and said that we could not add more time because there’s a waitlist and that we had to leave we spent $130 and our kids barely got to play nor did we get to eat. Was super shitty after we waited for our station and paid that amount and got told we had to leave after the 41 mins of play. SMH and it was for my stepdaughters birthday outing.

Fun time! Loved the view of STL from the bays! Service great. Food came out slow tho and the tee did not hold the ball up (ball would keep falling over because the tee was wobbly and deformed). Overall a super fun experience. We’ll be back!

This is a great place to come chill with friends or family and practice your golf shots. The food was really good and the service was great as well.

I arrived around 8:30pm on a Monday with my sons while visiting the area. We got to the bay and set up around 8:35pm. The Waitress, Riah, came and took drink order. We got waters and the pretzel bites as an app.

The pretzel bites came at 8:43pm. I ordered hot coco a couple minutes later. They were PIPPING hot when we got them.

We ordered food at 8:56pm. Order was: the kids cheeseburger and fries and the fried chicken heat which for my kids. I got a strawberry top golf margarita to drink, which came at 9pm. It was tasty.

The food came at 9:13pm. My teen son said his chicken sandwich wasn’t spicy at all and the sauce was very minimal. He also stated that his hot coco wasn’t stirred or mixed correctly, which gave it a watery taste. This was true as I could see the buildup at the bottom on the cup. (The hot coco was $4.29 each). My other son enjoyed his cheeseburger and fries with no complaints.

The game play was fun! We played for 1 hr and 45 minutes. My youngest son is left handed and they had left handed clubs available, which is a bonus.

This was a visit to celebrate a birthday. Upon entering the business, we were greeted and informed we would have a 30 minute wait. This was no problem, as we did not have a reservation. The wait time was adequate and we were instructed to go to our assigned bay via text message. The gaming experience was great as well as our host. He immediately came over and introduced himself. We placed food and drink orders for the 6 of us. This is where the experience turned sour. Our host properly took our orders, but the cooks in the kitchen refused to follow instructions. Our food was wrong and had to be returned several times. The manager was informed, but was not apologetic at all, nor did he take responsibility for the inconsistent kitchen staff. He did take $30 off the 2 hour play time I paid for, but that was not the issue. I did request him to remove the food items from my bill that were not eaten or corrected. Although my bill was still over $200, and the experience bad, I still gave our server a good tip, because the problem was out of his control and he was still great. I will not be visiting this location anytime soon. They are too expensive to have subpar food service as this is a major part of the overall experience.

Even though very good, the food is a bit on the expensive side but the atmosphere and service is outstanding. We love to play in the winter league!
