Rigatoni and canneloni were good. The stuffed artichoke was delicious, as well as the cannoli! Also the bread and hummus they bring you is amazing.

My family and I (a group of 9) came to Trattoria Marcella to celebrate a couple of birthdays tonight and we had the absolute best experience. From beginning to end, our server Maggie was attentive, informative, and kind. We never had empty glasses and she made some really excellent recommendations for us! The food was all delicious, and I will be dreaming about the drink I had, the Blushing Buffalo, for days. I've got to figure out how to infuse Buffalo Trace with strawberry at home!
The icing on the cake was getting to sit in the more private back room area. It was perfect for a group! Thank you to everyone involved for an incredible meal and experience. Already can't wait to go back!

Trattatoria Marcella never disappoints. It is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis. Be sure to try to get reservations as this place always draws a crowd. All our food was stellar but have to comment that my lasagna was crazy good and enough to feed 3.

Fast paced service, we did not have to wait for a table much. We ordered the calamari, lasagna, and the lobster risotto. The lobster risotto is not on the menu but the waiter will tell you about it. They also have shrimp risotto or a mix of both lobster and shrimp.
For dessert we ordered the tiramisu. All the food is flavoured and gives a sense of homemade food. The portions are huge!!! We had to bring it home. They also give free bread with hummus which is refillable. We told the waiter (who was extremely kind and speedy) that we were in a rush and the food came up maybe 5 mins after we ordered. This place is legit.

I can’t stop thinking about YOU! My husband and I visited our friends in St. Louis in July. We’re from Michigan & they said that this was the place we HAD to go to no negotiations. I’m a pasta girl so I said no problem! This place is absolutely amazing. I had a special rigatoni with shrimp and oh my goodness. Chefs kisss doesn’t define it. The food was so delightful and definitely Italian authentic! Homemade noodles, sauce from scratch, delicious wine, high quality meats….the list goes on. The only problem now is I’m 1,000 miles away with no hope of ever eating it again. Trattoria Marcella…I love you! I’ve been thinking about you! And I wish I could go BACK! Highly recommend. It’s one of those places that is excellent from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The manager is delightful as well! Don’t think about it! Just do it!!!

This place was great, we had the lasagna, margarita pizza, and the raviolis of course! It was traditional and unique. We ordered the fried ravioli for an appetizer and also had a few loafs of complementary bread with yummy hummus. I wish the raviolis had a little bit more meat but they were covered in parmesan and basil and fried perfectly. The marinara that came with them was bursting with flavor and definitely homemade. The lasagna was rich with sausage, cottage cheese, cheese, and the perfect amount of marinara. I would say it’s the best lasagna I’ve ever had. It was a decent portion size and we took it home because it would be a sin to waste. The margarita pizza was on thin crust and seemed like it was wood fired. It had good amounts of mozzarella and just the right amount of basil and the perfect crunch. They had specials and loads of desserts. We did get a cannoli to share and it was phenomenal. The lighting was romantic and moody, perfectly dimmed. There were classic photos all over the restaurant. The service was excellent and couldn’t be more perfect. Needless to say we loved it and will be back!!!

This is an amazing restaurant with amazing food and service. I was with a big group, we had multiple apps and entrees...all of it tasted excellent! I had one of the house specials, Linguine and crab meat, a must if you love pasta and seafood. I will definitely return again soon!
