The food was all fantastic and an exceptionally well maintained wine list. They absolutely rocked it from the appetizers to the dessert. We will definitely be back again.
The bar buzz hits you before your drink even does. I sat down, cracked open my laptop, and immediately had three people chatting me up like I was the mayor. The food is great and we’ll get to it in a minute, but have you met Duke, the bartender? He’s mixing up good vibes back there. I’m gonna send him a friendship bracelet because I feel like we’re gonna be friends for life.
Naturally, I ordered the truffle fries, because duh, it’s in the name. Then came the barbecue shrimp (pro tip: order more bread for the dipping situation), and the tuna lettuce wraps, and that tuna was thicc. I looked around and thought it was a mistake, but I was like I’m not saying shit. I was in #stlouispescatarianapproved happiness zone.
Next time we need to put a fish on my ice cube. Just saying.

First time here and everything was perfect.
Vito was an outstanding server—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He didn’t miss a beat. Our glasses were never empty, and his recommendations from the menu were spot on.
The food? Incredible—from the warm, fresh bread at the beginning to the rich bread pudding at the end. Every bite in between was just as memorable.
The restaurant itself is stunning juxtaposition—beautifully balancing an old-school charm with modern touches. It’s a seamless blend of classic and current, creating a warm, upscale atmosphere.
A perfect experience all around. Thanks, Vito!

We hadn't been to Truffles in a while and were delighted with our dining experience. Jennifer, our server, was outstanding, and every course was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and delightfully delicious! Thank you for such a fun evening!
Rough experience last week. Hostess right off the bat was rude and dismissive. Took 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Had to wait another 20 minutes despite open tables. Veto came off very fake, not impressed with him at all. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Real air of arrogance in this place, wouldn’t recommend.

We enjoyed our experience at Truffles very much. David was our server and made sure that we would enjoy our meal. It was a big hit. Our wine selection was perfect with our delicious meals.
Hubs and I had a lovely time sharing a bottle of wine and sharing our meals with one another. We had. 5:00 reservation and loved the atmosphere the food the service. He had the filet I had the chicken breast— garlic mashed potatoes are a favorite of mine we also shared a meat and cheese tray some wine and the truffles for a little treat with some coffee before we left. This is in my too 3 upscale places to eat around STL. We will be back.

One of our absolute favorites. I’ve tried Dover sole around the world and still haven’t found a better version—it’s been a mission. The wine program is exceptional, with rare and high-end pours available by the glass. The vibe is warm and upscale, but if you’re seated in the bar area, plan for it to be lively and loud. Still, it’s one of the most consistently rewarding dining experiences in the city.

Wonderful food, outstanding experience and impeccable service! Vito is truly a jem!!! Until next time!
We had not been to Truffles so we stopped for a drink. We wanted a table in the bar area but each one had a reserved sign on them. So we sat at the bar where we met a great bartender, Duke. My girlfriend asked for the drink menu but they don’t have one. Duke said he can make us anything so I asked for a pomegranate cosmo. My girlfriend wanted to see how mine tasted before ordering one for herself. The cosmo was very smooth so my girlfriend ordered one also. We told Duke we wanted to order food but we wanted a table. Duke saw people leaving and he went to the hostess and requested the table for us. Excellent service from Duke! We split the Miso Duck Breast and a side of asparagus. The duck was cooked perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The asparagus was grilled and it had a slight char taste and smell which was wonderful. Excellent service and great food. The bar area was casual where the dining room was more formal.

Nice waiter but forget our bread order. Otherwise impeccable. Table location was poor. Food awesome and truly the best Dover Sole. But for $82 before tax and tip one would expect it would still be prepared table side like you used to do. Maybe it was the horrible table location and space that prevented that?
Good was phenomenal! We shared the bbq shrimp it was delicious! Husband got the chicken and I had the halibut and we both finished our plate! We also had the croissant bread pudding with clementines ice cream it was mouth watering! It is pricey but worth every penny! Can't wait to go back!
