It was a terrible experience from start to finish. We waited at the hostess stand for almost 10 min before someone approached us, confirmed the reservation and took us to our table. No “good evening” or “sorry for your wait.”Our server was quick providing the wine I ordered. The prices were drastically increased from our numerous previous visits. Additionally, they now charge for bread, which I think is tacky for an upscale, EXPENSIVE restaurant.I ordered the filet, medium well, which came with mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. The steak was a thick cut, and I quickly cut it before the waiter dashed away. It was maybe medium rare. I asked them to take it back and butterfly it, if they needed to.They took my whole plate away and I was hungry. When they brought it back, the Brussel sprouts were barely warm. The potatoes weren’t much better. I make better brussel sprouts than the way they were prepared here. The steak still wasn’t done to my liking. And it was SO SALTY. As were the potatoes. I barely ate any of my dinner. The waiter came and took my plate away and said they would comp my meal. No offer of anything else to make my experience better, no offer of a free dessert, etc. Basically I didn’t get charged for a terrible dinner that I didn’t eat.I called a day later to tell the manager on duty, Brandon, about my extremely poor experience. It took 4 minutes for him to come to the phone and I called at 4 pm, before any dinner rush. I could tell immediately he could have cared less what I had to say. I didn’t even voice all of my concerns because he was unprofessional, and didn’t do anything to assuage our awful experience. We get MUCH better food and service and quality at Flemings, 801 Local, Bricktops and Twisted Tree. We will NEVER go back to Truffles. And I’m happy to tell anyone why.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Prices are high but honestly worth it.

Celebrated our 36th anniversary here. We shared the shrimp ceviche, truffle fries and a bottle of champagne. I feasted on the salmon pad Thai while my husband had the Denver Waygu steak. A complementary flourless chocolate torte topped off a fantastic meal. David is the best server! Thank you for sharing our special evening with us!

Married couple of 49 years with early seating, but others joining and a gradually increasing energy. The House Salad and Truffle Frites enjoyable starters. Her pork chop and my sea scallops quite tasty entrees, though a bit delayed and barely warm which was odd as things had not gotten too busy by then. Yao was notably pleasant while also helpful and proficient.

We had a wonderful time, but our waiter overcharged us or intentionally mislead us when ordering. After 4 attempts ( one actually in person and he refused to see my husband, telling the hostess to have us call the bookkeeper instead) of rectifying this and sharing with the manager, we have given up. The bookkeeper said she would call us back after she spoke to manager. When you spend over $500 for dinner for 4 people, I would expect better follow- up or a response. Additionally, they must be really short on servers. I could only get a reservation at 6pm on Open Table but the restaurant never filled up that Friday night.

Got the meatballs, duck & Dover sole meal, was frickin great! The foods have so many different layers of flavor and our server was so personable and knowledgeable of everything!

Wonderful food and service. Our waiter Vito was outstanding. Only complaint is the lighting; way too bright especially the bright light directing over our table. Made us feel like we were at a police interrogation.

Cold inside / certainly for a woman wearing a nice dress. Food was very oily. Cocktails acceptable but not impressive. Not impressive is a good phrase for this place which seems to be riding on its high class location rather than high class offerings.

The food is good but not the best out there, the bbq is outstanding, seating is also never set up great for couples. Overall I like the place but other places offer better food at similar prices

A nice occasional dinner out but generally overpriced even among fine dining options in St. Louis. Cookies were delicious but it is still a cookie... for $7.50 each. Bread service $5 extra dollars. Steak entree was $75. Glad we brought our own wine but paid $35 for corking fee which again, is too high.

Unbelievable meal and service!!! A special place with super attention to detail! We will recommend and go back again. Do not miss out on the desserts!!! Amazing staff especially Danielle , knowledgeable and super connected to giving us a fully amazing experience!

Great food and beautiful decor/murals on the walls. Interesting play list (time after time, lots of 80's). We got the red fish special which was so flaky and good. The scallops, burger and filet were also wonderful.

This is a great place for couples, small gatherings or special events. We are from out of town and met friends we had t seen in a long time. They were out of the special by the time we got there, but made up for it with a few extras. Well worth it for a special occasion!

Went for our anniversary and had a terrific dinner. Started with the stuffed mushrooms, which we both enjoyed. I had the veal medallions and my husband, the pork chop. Both dishes were delicious. Had the croissant bread pudding for dessert. We highly recommend! Our server was very attentive, as well. Lovely evening! Definitely one of our favorite places for special occasions!

We have visited Truffles many times and we are never disappointed. The food is always delicious, and the service always goes above and beyond. We especially enjoyed the steaks Tuscan style and the cauliflower appetizer.
