Went here for our first time on my birthday and it was spectacular! This place pours their heart into their service and food. We loved it! Will be back!

They can't keep servers anymore and are always short staffed. To the point where they won't even take to go orders, even if you offer to wait in line and be seated at the table. Foods good but they can't compete with ever other business in the area that maintained takeout options after the pandemic. Go to Chris's Pancakes if you want to go.

Sometimes there's a significant wait to get it (especially on Sundays) and they are not currently open 24/7 due to staffing issues. However, it's a great local breakfast/brunch place.

This is a historical restaurant on the Southside of St Louis Missouri. The server Amy was excellent and so was the cashier.
Unfortunately the building is old and has not been updated yet.
The ladies room is not ADA compliant. The two stalls were about 16 inches wide and nobody with a wheelchair could use it.

Parking: The lot just is not large enough.

Best breakfast in St. Louis!!! Bacon, perfect. Over-medium eggs, perfect. Pecan pancakes, perfect. Hashbrowns, perfect! I cannot overemphasize how amazing this food was. Large portions, well worth the price. It's obviously an older spot, but there was plenty of parking and the diner was clean. Staff was incredible and very helpful. A whole team of servers even rushed over to help calm down a raging toddler at the table next to us. Our first time there and we felt like family. Uncle Bill's is a must try!

They have fallen. Food is good but the atmosphere is dirty & LOUD & crazy prices! $5.40 for hash browns?! ?
I could hear the kitchen from the seats nearest Kingshighway which is as far away from it as you can get. Some lady was obnoxiously loud in the back. The building is worn out & every inch greasy. Even the booth seats are broken down & uncomfortable with springs & wood poking through.
The service was decent but I doubt I'll go back.

My husband and I had a marvelous breakfast here at Bills pancakes. The food was quick, the service was wonderful and our waitress “Mildred” was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about how pleasant she was.

I frequent here often recently for the quiet atmosphere for work meetings. Always huge portions of good home cooked food. Millie is the best server, along with Tammy, and the front desk ladies!
