The most unfortunate restaurant location of any DoubleTree i have stayed in. Thankfully the food to go was excellent, and brought out by the chef as the bartender went mia.
This is where I went for breakfast twice since the hotel does not have complimentary breakfast. Food takes a while to come out no matter how many people there are or what you get. The food itself is decent. The server falls asleep and takes your order while sitting down. I had to greet myself for him to realize I was there waiting for him. Had to go up and ask him for the bill. If the food was quicker and the server was attentive, rating would be higher.
Its located in the hotel we were staying in( Doubletree ) we got breakfast from here, and were very impressed. They have Turkey for a pork substitute Inwhich that gives them 2 stars of the bat without even tasting a forkful in my book. I want to come back and get a Burger from here, looks good and well put together
I ordered tea before ordering my breakfast. The server brought hot water in a paper cup and a packet of green tea. When I asked for black tea, he went to hunt for a packet of black tea, but could find only Constant Comment, which would have been fine, except when I asked for milk, he told me they were out. This was at 9:30 in the morning.
Great glass of wine and the burger and steak fries were outstanding!
Breakfast was horrible. Hashbrowns were greasy and pancakes tasted like Crisco.
They were also overcharging on the bill Vs. the price indicated on the menu.
Disappointment is an understatement for a Hilton property!
Not much in terms of a Kids menu, but adequate food for 8+. Food is better than most in hotel restaurant. Food quality and prices are more than reasonable, no more than what you pay at Olive Garden.
Waitress and bartender rude.
Hotel was nice and front desk great, stay away from the resturant.
Kid-friendliness: Welcoming 30 minutes before closing and re invited to breakfast

This place is kinda fun. It's in the basement of the DoubleTree hotel. There is no sign outside the hotel telling you it's inside. So it feels like going to a speakeasy or something. But there it is in the basement along with the hotel's meeting rooms for small conferences. At any rate, there were a couple of people at the bar and a couple of diners but overall pretty empty. The decor is decent and seems new. We both ordered the Smokey Veggie Burger and they were good! There like a crazy cattle brand burned into the top bun of the burger. Fun! Burgers were really tasty and filling. Steak fries were good. This is an odd little restaurant with a fun kinda scavenger hunt to find it in a kinda forgotten area by the airport. We'll be back.
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, but it's a burger bar so keep the purpose of the place in mind.

OMG! By far the worst burger yet I’ve had in St. Louis. Two different burgers ordered to be cooked medium with steak fries. Burgers were cooked so well done they were like leather. The fries were not cooked completely and were soggy to the touch. It’s really terrible for the restaurant in a Doubletree hotel and so close to the airport to be putting food out like this. What a complete disappointment. Beware

Food was decent for hotel restaurant fare. Had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, was cooked well, good portion size, lots of chicken. Serve was friendly but understaffed.

In my personal and professional experience, I was quite disappointed with the lack of a complimentary breakfast option at the hotel, especially considering the amount we paid for our stay. It was clearly stated in the hotel package amenities that breakfast would be provided, but to our dismay, the employees failed to show up in the morning to serve the promised meal. This not only left us feeling let down and inconvenienced, but it also undermined the overall value and quality of our stay. As a guest, I believe it is essential for businesses to honor their commitments and ensure that advertised amenities are delivered as promised. Unfortunately, in this case, the absence of the complimentary breakfast had a negative impact on our experience and left us questioning the hotel's professionalism and customer service.
