Some Of the best late night tacos you will find in STL. Upbeat is one of those need to know bases type places for me every time I bring it up whole Are like whaaaat there's a bar up there? Yes the food is good and the drinks are strong with plenty of seating inside, outside and at the bar from the view to the atmosphere you will not leave disappointed

Nope! The ambiance and food quality is not comparable to other venues similarly priced. Furthermore, I was extremely disappointed that the Shrimp tacos were made with SALAD shrimp. “Upbar pls do better”

WHAT IS THAT....YOU SAY? That's the dinner I threw together after waiting 50 minutes with no food, watching everyone in my party be served except me, hearing the waitress promise me my food was coming for the fourth time. The bar was packed on Monday night. The Dj kept interrupting all the music to say his name to much. Then I watch four women hold the bathroom hostage to gossip about their personal problems and how the drinks were watered down. This place is rachet at best. No one at the bar actually stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff is great but this bar is a hot mess.

Great cocktails, fun and energetic bartenders, the tacos were pretty great, the DJ was fun, the patio was so beautiful at night with all the strip lights up. Will definitely be back

Fun place! We didn't get to enjoy the roof this time because it was cold and windy, but last time it was just cold and the roof was amazing! Nikki was our waitress and even though it was busy, she would appear out of nowhere so fast with our drinks! So awesome! Plus, everyone stopped to check on us as they went by. The DJ was great, too--Hadise Lyles! Highly recommend!

I had a blast bringing in the new year. We were asked to move because a party reserved our table but there was no sign. The manager Dave took really good care of us. Top tier customer service. This is my new hang out spot.
This is a nice hidden gem ?!! My 1st time here & it reminded me of the MoonRise at Delmar Loop!! It's rooftop, w/heat & walkout, front area & back area, w/low seating & high seating at long tables, the atmosphere is chill ? & lowkey!! Idk if they serve food & not sure if they had a menu or not, but they have TVs on tht back wall, not sure bout drink selections, I only drink wines w/bubbles/champagne...oh, they have valet too!!
We went in for happy hour. The view was really nice. That was the best part about the venue and only reason I ranked three. The view can not carry a place alone. I ordered a margarita flight and was very excited as usually you do not get flight with margaritas. It would have been helpful if the staff said tell you which flavor is which or if the flight would have been labeled. 2 of the 4 drinks were okay only one which I believe was mango was good. The flight was $25 and I do not mind the price but the communication of flavors just would have helped. Service was ok. Didn't order food as it was a very limited menu and there was not anything of interest to us.

I really enjoyed DJ and Amber their service was incredible, they serviced my aunts live show, so beautifully. They had so much patience and were working very hard and diligently!!
Was there for R&B Monday, first time there and was super excited with friends but the little girl behind the bar was extremely rude, she was drinking and taking shots directly from the bottle (NASTY!!!) and at one point she called the person next to me a racial slur. I have it on video because the altercation SHE started was getting uncomfortable for me. Someone like that should not be behind a bar. She claimed it was her bar and if they didn’t like it, they can leave. This isn’t the 1800’s. Please don’t treat people of color like slaves. Will not be coming back and will be posting video. As long as she’s there, STAY AWAY!!!
