Vails Brothers Shrimp Chicken & Fish

The food was good but u can tell when different cooks work different days because the food isn’t consistent. The food might be seasoned and fried one way one day and then seasoned and fried a completely different way the next. If the all the cooks stick to just one recipe instead of doing their own thing, I think you’d be great.

The shrimp was horrible to me and the triple was to greasy on the bread it just fell to pieces.

I come quite often but mainly to the Manchester location which I received total different customer service!! These people are rude & show no hospitality! This was the 2nd bad experience I had at Delmar location wanted to give it another try but failed tremendously! Food was ok & jus ok but what gets me is the poor customer service & that will get in the way everytime!! We as black ppl with our own businesses especially in the hood where u get patronized the most need to step ya game up & treat ppl how u would want to be treated!! Customer service is the master key & I'll make sure to tell others not to support as well due to this issue because u surely lost one & many others that'll back me!!

I called for my client so that she can no how much her food was going to be. Instead of me getting a price with taxes, I was told to go online and she hung up on me. Not cool, I was going to make a purchase for myself but nope not getting my money.

Im so disappointed. I decided to try Vail brother's again because a few years ago I had to write a review because I was disappointed in the quality of my food. I thought since its been awhile I'll try them again. I got the #1. Shrimp, chicken, fries, roll. My chicken was ok, my fries taste like they were fried in old grease. My shrimp is what really dusapoointed me. They were flat, and they definitely were fried in old grease. I guess it will be a long time before I try again if I do. I know restaurants sometimes have bad days. But I paid $16 and I waa hungry and it was a waste. I bit off 1 shrimp ( rest in the trash) 2 chicken wings, and maybe 4 fries. Oh that Tarter sauce I dipped that 1 bite of shrimp in was DELICIOUS!!! They should bottle that and sale it.

Order Uber eats the fish sandwich was so flat like paper , I know the economy is at a all time high but how far you stretching a piece of fish.

Saturday around 11:30 we went to Vails on Delmar and the cashier had a very nasty attitude. I was telling my cousin about her attitude and the young lady who had finger waves in her hair yelled at me saying she didn’t have an attitude, with an attitude. When I walked up to the register to ask her to put our food in separate bags she was cold, asking what do you want?

This is Shelina here. I was craving a tripe sandwich so I decided to try Vails and OMG it was amazing. Perfectly cooked & seasoned. I got some onion rings and coleslaw with it and they were amazing. I let my mom try some of my food and she didn't want to give it back. We are both excited to try more of the menu items. Thanks ladies for great service and amazing food. Definitely recommend.

This location is my favorite being that they're the one that sells tripe. If you like tripe,you will not be disappointed.
