Vails Brothers Shrimp Chicken & Fish

Placed an online order…I received confirmation of the order with the pickup time. Went to pick up order and was advised that they cancelled my order because they were out of fries. Lady working the register was dismissive and couldn’t provide any details on the refund of my order or why they couldn’t fill the order without the fries.

They forgot my cheese on my fries. But some of the best fried chicken and shrimp not cooked in my mama kitchen.

Honestly, I’m so tired of businesses, not fulfilling their orders. If you can’t keep up with DoorDash orders and miss placed people’s food then you should cut DoorDash off. People sit and wait for their food to be delivered just for the place to have forgotten stuff when the order is on the ticket all you have to do is read and check it’s 2+2 it’s so irritating because they feel like just because they’re a certain business that it’s OK to make these mistakes and then now the customer is the one they are mad at, but it’s like I paid you for a service and you didn’t come through with that service.. I hate places like this one and done for sure

Order was wrong, they made it my problem to replace it and overcharged me.

The fish is season welled. Love the chicken. Make sure ti grab some peach cobbler.

Food is mediocre at least. They forgot my order of okra no seasoning at all. My chicken wasn't dipped or my fish. When I asked I was given a Lil cup of sauce like here, do it yourself. The shrimp was good could've been fried a Lil harder. The fish was fried good and it did taste good. I would prefer a different lady in the front with a more pleasant attitude for your customers. Being blk owned! Don't make us look bad.

No sense of urgency. Food took over thirty minutes for one item. I would give them a zero if it was possible.

Mac and Cheese was lackluster and wings were a little on the small side, but overall the food was great. HUGE fried shrimp!

This place is Mediocre at best!! Came here because I heard good reviews about this place and wanted to try it out. Think this was a mistake. Place is a cute little spot and atmosphere was great. Cashier was a sweetie pie and recommended things on the menu. I ordered the wings and fish plate and also the shrimp plate with fries. When we ordered cashier said about 15-20 min wait and that was fine but as I looked up it was way past 40 mins since we ordered. I asked how much longer and she stated since it’s made to order it takes a while, I mean that understandable but let customers know it could a little longer instead of just letting us sit there that long and no apologies. Now the food was no good at all. The fish was fried really hard where it was basically burnt and the chicken was only sweet with no heat and the fried looked like they were fried in day old grease. And the shrimp was plain with no kinds of seasonings. I was really disappointed especially with how expensive it was. Don’t think I will go back to this establishment but it was worth a try.
