I've been coming to this eclectic, artistic, ever-changing bar for years. I do miss the Rastafarian cooks from the old days in the late '80s. It is a mandatory stop for a drink or three whenever out of towners want to do something a little" different ".
From the first floor to the upstairs to the various patio areas there is something interesting and wonderful around every
corner. Just do it !
Quirky but fun place. Good music. Good drinks. Would have been 5 stars, but the door guy has a bad attitude, which was a drag. Sad, because he's the 1st impression of this otherwise fine establishment.
Kitchen closed. Great music. Great adjacent dining open later.
Chardonnay was subpar. Great energy, decor, and photo ? opportunities. Definitely, found a neat area to explore. Got there at 9 pm hoping to go earlier before kitchens close. Shouldn't drink on empty stomach.
