Ryan was amazing as our waiter! He helped us make all of our choices, and we loved every last bite! And it was beyond what he said, so much more!! The food was so exciting and adventurous, fun and authentic! Chef Jane's use of acid is spectacular, making so many things bright and balanced. It was bold and warm, bright and all around exciting! By far, my favorite of the night was the parmesan custard. Simply devine, unexpected, bold flavors, balanced and so bright! My birthday dinner was amazing đ and I thank the entire staff for all of the fun!

Honestly, very disappointed.
For the price, the atmosphere surprised us immediately: no music at all, generally quite loud and the tables were close enough together that we got the intimate details of multiple strangersâ conversations for free.
We ordered a few starters, including the beet salad. The mousse made an already sweet vegetable overly rich and cloying, so only about half was eatenâand we felt weighed down right away. The kanpachi sashimi was probably the best dish of the night: simple and well-rounded. But as a shareable starter, seven pieces about the size of a dime, five little apple rolls, and a pond of oil and sauce was⊠less than amusing.
Entrees: the pork chop was beautifully cooked, and the snapper was cooked well too, but the âmiso glazed snapperâ had such a strong vinegar overtone that the miso was completely lost. The fish felt confused, like a child who lost his family in the mall. We hoped to reunite him with the pork chop, but in the 20 minutes spent chewing through the tough batter of the single onion ring, he mustâve been abducted.
The star of the night was the avocado purĂ©e with two pickled onions. Their flavor was beautifulânot too pungent as to make us brush our teeth vigorously, and not so heavy as to require an upcharge from the Uber for freight.
Overall, I wish the feeling of disappointment stayed in the kitchen and never traveled from my wallet to my stomach.
Passing through town and had such a delicious meal! Great food and drinks with fresh ingredients. We both loved it. Also, I put in resy that it was our anniversary and they gave us a really cute card when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Loved it! We had the tasting menu and it was great! The first course was more like 6 courses! Then we had the optional flat bread course which was my favorite thing all night. The tacos and chicken thigh were incredible and the ice cream dessert was the perfect end to the evening. We will definitely be back.
Having returned, I can confirm it is still incredible. The tasting menu was once again a wonderful experience and we will return.
Fake snoopy Michelin star restaurant vibes with tiny portions and without a proper service or decent food taste. Waste of time.

20% gratuity mandate, not worth the price. The creamy rice is too much butter and prone to feeling uneasy

Vicia was such an incredible masterclass of food, service and atmosphere. We stopped by before a show at the Fox Theatre and we were blown away! We opted for the 1st course of the âlet us cook for youâ tasting menu (a happy hour special) and also got the miso snapper and the farm chicken for our entrees. All were great bites, but the miso snapper and the cheddar rillette are must haves! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was moody & inviting. In our eyes, this is a top 3 restaurant in the STL area. 10/10, no notes!

Restaurantji Recommends
I discovered the restaurant through a report I read about the chef being nominated for an award, which piqued my curiosity. It was an excellent surprise! The restaurant is beautiful, modern, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is kind and professional, and the menu, though compact, offers outstanding options. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The open kitchen is particularly fascinating. We thoroughly enjoyed the experienceâcongratulations to the entire team!

We loved our experience here. Cole was phenomenalâprofessional, polite, personable, and kind. He thoroughly explained the menu, was so lovely, and our service was timely & never wavered. Best of all, the food!!!! Our food and wines were the best Iâve ever had. I highly recommend the focaccia with butter and the farmhouse chicken. I will absolutely be back and recommending to everyone I know.

One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis so far. Everything was exceptional, from the warm yet professional service to the outstanding flavors and thoughtfully crafted drinks. We chose this place for our anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. A definite must-visit restaurant in St. Louis.

Amazing. From the pathway lined by flowers to get in, which you later find out are all edible and youâll spot in your food, to the glimpse of a bustling kitchen with staff lined up to run dishes to your table, to amazing food and great service, it was all around truly a unique culinary experience. We went for our anniversary, and sat out in the covered patio. We couldnât have asked for a better server than Sam, who truly made the entire evening even better and ensured we had an extraordinary evening. The food⊠I will be thinking of these meals for a very long time and cannot wait to come back for more with the change of seasons. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared and a pleasure to share and eat. Thank you.

If we lived in St Louis, we would be regulars here! Itâs so good! We came to town for a concert and love farm to table restaurants so we got reservations here. When you walk in, you pass what initially looks like a slightly overgrown flowery landscaping. As you continue, you realize itâs food! Some peppers, some herbs, and more. Our main server (I canât remember his name but he had a Harry Potter quote tattooed on his arm) said they grown their own food and what they donât grow, they get from local farms.
The service from all staff was excellent. I love it when my table is wiped clean between courses, especially if the table gets a little crumby from the delish bread.
The âLet Us Feed Youâ was a tasting menu without calling it that. The description is a little misleading as it says â3 course, family style mealâ. When I think family style, I envision a vat of food that each person has to scoop onto their plate (like Bucca de Peppo or Stroud's) so I would never have chosen that if the server didnât explain it better. The first and second course had multiple dishes. It was more of a tapa style tasting menu. Absolutely fabulous! I am floored that it was only $80 a person for that much food. We love to go to different tasting menu options in Kansas City and I can tell you, none of them are only $80. We were stuffed when we were done (which isnât always the case w tasting menus) so it was WELL WORTH IT! The food was so good. Iâm still thinking about the lovely carrot and pesto starter. The crackers w sweet peppers was also memorable. Everything we ate was superb. I also appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic drink options. My wife liked the interesting vegetable twists on her cocktails, like a smoked celery martini and a sweet pepper old fashioned. Be advised, go with a foodie if you want to try the tasting menu because to order it, it requires your whole table to choose that option.
