I try to come in and grab lunch here any time I can! Their caprese sandwich is hands down the best version I've had, in no small part thanks to the delicious bread that is baked fresh daily.
The staff are always friendly and quick, even when there's a line out the door!-

This is a REALLY cozy, comfy, ... Nostalgic taste that a person FROM St. Louis SHOULDN'T MISS FOR ONE MORE SECOND. Like THE Picture of the old skool delicatessens. Vitale's delicatessen is a warm and welcoming space. Where every customer will have a delicious sandwich and a friendly conversation. Premium cuts of meats and cheeses, and they're not being stingy either! I got the pastrami, and... Well lets just say, I had to loosen my belt, and break after only half the sandwich. But that was ok. Because I got to enjoy it twice. ?? So... Like I always say! "Do Not... Cheat Yourself!!! Treat Yourself!!!!!! " ??????????
P.S. Hey... Tell' em Stacy sent you, Y'all show me some love now. But do get you one of them samiches.

I was looking for a deli in the area and Vitale’s did not disappoint. The owner made me feel like we’ve known each other for years. His staff was extremely courteous. I tried the Pete. It was a well balanced sandwich. The only thing I would’ve had was mustard. I highly recommend you stop by and support a great local business.

Just Wow. What a great place. I’ve more the gladly drove 20 minutes just for their sandwiches. They treat everyone with a courteous smile and it’s well known. If you want a sandwich or salad, take an extra few minutes and treat yourself right!
