WOW! Just ate here for the first time and got The G.O.A.T. It was phenomenal. It's been a long time since I ate a sandwich that impressed me, much less inspired me to leave a review, but these guys did it. Eat there, you won't be sorry.

Hands-down the best sandwich shop in the Northwest St. Louis County area, as witnessed by the daily long lines stretching out the door & up the sidewalk. HINT: My wife & I chose to visit after 1 PM on a cold winter weekday, and there was only one customer ahead of us at the order/prep counter. The food prep & cashier staff are always extremely friendly & professional, and the upbeat vibe rubs off on the clientele. Sandwich prices might make you pause, but the generous volume & high quality of ingredients are well worth the cost. My wife ordered The First Timer (hot roast beef, pepperoni, ham, Cheddar, cream cheese & more), and I ordered The Vivola Philly (with regular cream cheese that offers a smooth mix with the beef & onions & green peppers); both sandwiches were delicious, we were stuffed from the first halves, and we each had a half-sandwich to take home & enjoy all over again. Vivola's menu variety should be enough to satisfy 95% of the first-timers who walk in the door, while the other 5% will be sorry they didn't order with their friends.

I tried Vivola Express for the first time a few days ago. It is in a strip mall. It was very busy, with a 20–30-minute wait time. They are set up to focus primarily on sandwiches, with what appear to be quality ingredients and a variety of sauces. I had an Angry Bird sandwich, which was excellent. They can modify the sandwich, deleting an item or changing the sauce. Prices are somewhat high for a sandwich, but you are getting a high quality one. I would suggest sending in your order online if possible. Definitely worth a try.
