First time visit. Went for our anniversary. The attention to detail was excellent. We've spent a lot more at similar steakhouses and haven't had nearly the wonderful experience as we had here! Being seated by the manager was a nice touch. Prior to going, the only thing we knew was that it was attached to a Holiday Inn, which made us suspect and we thought we'd be severely disappointed. But since it got a good rating on Yelp we chanced it-- we're so glad we did! The cocktails were delicious and interesting. The wine list superb. We LOVED the salads that arrived "family style"- a Caesar and a mixed-greens salad choice. They came with homemade dressings that I wanted to drink from the bowls! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. I ordered the filet Oscar style and it was delicious! There were many choices of sides from which to choose. We ordered the whipped potatoes, asparagus, and the pepper cream sauce for my wife's filet and they were all yummy! Finally, we were given a free large slice of their "wedding cake" (vanilla cake with a phenomenal almond buttercream frosting) for dessert and devoured it! Don't hesitate going here. We think you'll enjoy it as much as we did!!

This was our first visit to Twisted Tree and it did not disappoint. We were there for our anniversary dinner. The service, ambience and especially the food were fantastic! We will definitely be back.

I ordered NY strip (medium-rare) since had heard it was good but I was disappointed since there were many chewy pieces. My wife had brisket sandwich which was good. We asked for a pickle for my kid and waiter never brought it. Rest of the service, atmosphere and noise level was optimal.

We have eaten here a few times over the years so we figured things would be great with no issues as it's always been. Well today was different for sure. My salad was incredibly bland and both my fish and my husband's could have used a couple more minutes on the grill. Our server was very friendly, but for nearly $100 for lunch, food should have been better.

Delicious classic steakhouse fare. The service was very good. The hostess helped me find a chair for my bad back pain while we were waiting for our table. The wait staff was personable with good suggestions.

My husband and I selected Twisted Tree for an anniversary dinner and were disappointed. The food was good and the service was fine; the experience would have been satisfactory for an everyday-type dinner, but I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out. We got off to a rocky start when we arrived on time for our reservation and were still waiting to be seated 30 minutes later. Mind you, there is no place to sit while waiting. There were signs on the bar saying "See the hostess for bar seating" - apparently reserved for people dining at the counter. After 20 minutes, I approached the hostess stand, staffed with 3-4 people (why?), and was told, "Well, 6:30 to 7:00 is our busiest time." I wanted to say, "No sh**, Sherlock, that's why we made a reservation." But I refrained. Still we stood for another 10 minutes, directly in front of the well-staffed front desk, without acknowledgement. Once seated the meal went smoothly, but the soup was already made, if you know what I mean.

Everything was great. Our server, Brian, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. If it were close to our house, we would be back very soon. But we had a great time and we will be back again sometime regardless.

Our waiter was Justin and he was phenomenal. Very kind and personable. He made my husbands birthday dinner one of the best ones we have had yet. The food was amazing and the drinks were even better. We will be back.

Three of us ordered the filet.. very tender, cooked perfectly.. salad was great, mix the two dressing for a great flavor.. homemade croutons added a great touch.. the steak butter was perfect with the steaks.. mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection with a touch of garlic.. awesome.. the fourth dinner had the prime rib, said it was the best he had ever had!! Loved the horseradish sauce!! Had the wedding cake with ice cream & rasbwrry sauce for dessert.. WOW!! I eat here everything I come to St Louis, love it!!

We've moved away and are back in town for a visit. As expected, the service and food did not disappoint. Thank you for a fabulous lobster, shrimp and filet, never mind those salads!

We had a 8:30 p.m. reservation and didn't get seated for 25 minutes. The hostess wasn't very helpful in keeping the lobby informed. The rest of the staff were friendly but not very attentive once our food was served. The food was good and a new place for us to try to celebrate a birthday.

My three colleagues and I were visiting from Virginia and decided to dine here. I had the 8 oz filet mignon special wrapped in bacon with a side of potatoes and green beans. This is probably a top three dining experience for me. The French 75 cocktail was also great, which is rare in my experience. My colleagues and I agreed that the brisket ravioli was amongst the appetizers we have had. Highly recommend all that I have heretofore listed. My colleagues had a ribeye which they loved. Zach was an incredible waiter too. I can't recommend this restaurant enough ???

First, we had wonderful server Katie. She was professional and pleasant. Next just some things we saw from our table that impressed us and will have us coming back again and again. An elderly woman was coming back from the restroom and could not find her table. A male server not only walked with her to help her find her table, he held her hand as they walked. It was a very heartwarming sight. The same table forgot their bag of leftovers and another server picked them up and ran after the couple to give it to them. I love a good restaurant with good food but the servers and support staff all seemed to love what they were doing. The vibe in the restaurant showed this.

Twisted Tree is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always excellent as is the service. The restaurant has a great wine menu, too. We try to go to Twisted Tree every couple of months, and not just for special occasions!
