Overall a positive experience. The food is good, the service was good until the end. I ordered a cup of coffee after my meal and it took a good 15 to 20 minutes before it was served.

Walnut catering provided food for my daughters wedding 6/21 at Stonehouse of St.Charles. The food was outstanding and they went above by adding an extra appetizer. Service was excellent. I give them an A+ for food, service, price, selection. I would highly recommend them for any event. Gina was great to work with throughout the whole process. Excellent job to the chef! Exceeding my expectation all around!

They put us in a room and we were by ourselves. We really enjoyed being able to talk to each other since we hadn't seen each other since Christmas. It was also teacher appreciation day, so that was nice as we were all teachers. Food and atmosphere was great. Waitresses basically left us alone, but came to see if we needed anything at regulars intervals which was greatly appreciated.

Absolutely the most horrible restaurant experience I've ever had. All three of us had issues with our meals and the management was ill-informed on accessibility and the restaurant layout limits access. We'll never go there again. While they credited two of our three meals it was still almost $30 on our tab for a soda, a tea, a drink was spoiled lemonade and vodka, and my daughter's three tacos that were flavorless according to her

First, the server was actually quite good, pleasant and tried to be helpful. The issue arose with the drink/food, I felt ill almost immediately. We were a party of three. I ordered a drink that had vodka and lemonade... I believe the lemonade had soured because after a few swallows, I just wasn't feeling well. Then bread was brought along with the salad I was sharing with my friend. I ate a roll and a little salad and spent most the rest of the time in and out of the restroom. My order, a chicken sandwich, was brought out while I was away and my adult daughter and my friend were nibbling at their food when I returned and let me know the chicken looked very dry. My friend then showed me her steak and said.. I asked for well done but.. it looked like charcoal. I said that looks horrible, have you said anything? I wasn't feeling well enough at this point to try my sandwich.. but when the server saw her meat, he agreed that it didn't look good and took it away for a redo. My daughter said her tacos were okish, but pretty bland. (She's in the army and eats pretty much anything). I pulled a small sample of chicken from the edge of my sandwich and it reminded me of what it tastes like when I precook something, freeze and reheat - still smells awesome but dry and flavorless. But knowing I wasn't feeling as well as I was before coming in, I asked my daughter and friend to try a taste and each was given a sliver of the chicken pulled from the edge of the sandwich and they each confirmed they thought it was dry and didn't bother with eating their slivers, placing them on their plates. In the midst of this we had asked for a box for my meal as I just couldn't eat... I had tried one of the sweet potato fries and it wasn't fully cooked, somewhat starchy, and stuck in my throat so I returned to the restroom to try to dislodge it...by this time my friend's recooked steak arrived, looking much better than the first and I was informed that she let the server know if the issues with my plate while I was away. He came by to let us know the manager said my chicken couldn't be dry since they marinated it. I thought that sounded like a pretty odd reply .. it stayed in the box and the server told us they took her meal off the ticket as well as mine and I was welcome to take mine home or not. I opted not since something seemed way wrong and couldn't see how reheating it would make it any better. So while they took these items from the bill, it didn't make things better but I'm sure the manager is happy we won't be back. His attitude to this was demonstrated in the parking lot when we were trying to leave. When we exited, we noticed that another customer had parked on the diagonal lines marking ramp access making it so narrow, while I could open the ramp, there was no room to get my chair on it (about a 4 in gap). My friend went in to see if they could assist in finding the customer and having the car moved off the ramp access. The manager came out, did not speak to me, but suggested that one of my passengers pull my prescribed van out of the space to open the ramp in the middle of the lot for me to get in. Neither of them have ever driven my van, it would require them learning the unique controls, removing the metal plate over the pedals, the knob on the steering wheel, and some other things that I would have to show them from the side then replacing these items after rolling around in the parking lot.. maneuvering around for a half hour or so in the lot as opposed to just locating the person who illegally parked, causing the issue in the first place. So his suggestion was ludicrous. So I inevitably opted to roll close enough to my ramp to drop my bottom onto the ramp, pull myself up toward the van and try to pull the chair over the edge of the ramp. (My friend couldn't help lift since she had hip replacement surgery and my daughter had walked to the restroom or something since we were in the parking lot for some time at this point. Luckily, a kind couple saw the challeng

I wouldn't recommend this place to people. The food was overpriced in my opinion and didn't taste very good. We went with a group of 6 other people and no one really cared for their food. We had the tater tot appetizer and the cheese tasted like Velveeta or something. Our salads were watery as well. Finally, our entrees we're also pretty plain. The Thai BBQ Mac and cheese had a weird, fake sweet taste to it. Our waitress was very nice and the service was good, but the food was expensive and didn't taste great.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambience, service, and value for the money were fine. The food was alright, with exception of the cheeseburger. Admittedly, I ordered it "medium to medium-well." I wasn't expecting a charcoal briquette. Two of the three people dining DID like their food. But the cook should have been embarrassed to send out that cheeseburger!

We went to the Walnut Grill for Fathers Day dinner after our plans changed last minute. We arrived at 7:15 and were seated immediately - the venue was not very busy at that time. Our server was attentive, perhaps a little too attentive, but he got us water and drinks right away and gave us time to decide on appetizers. He was always nearby, but didn't overtly bother us. He tried a couple of snide joke comments, which we ignored, so he quit that. We all had salads and they were good. I had a Cobb salad and it was really good and more than enough for dinner! We declined dessert although in the past they have been really good. We did not drink cocktails, just had the salads and iced tea. Overall a good dinner.

Great place for Happy Hour! Special drink and appetizer prices. Appetizers are better than traditional bar food. Nice patio.

Initially we were sat in a booth and immediately noticed ants crawling around. Asked to be moved. Should have just left at that point. Asked for bread and butter, bread is disgusting. Dry and just no flavor, butter did not help. Waiter took our order, sat for quite a long time and had to ask about the drinks. When they came, it was not what we ordered. Waiter took it back, but then I had to ask again about where the drinks are. Then had to ask about the appetizer, then had to ask about the salads. It was as if I was the waiters personal reminder to bring our items and do refills. Actually had two other waiters step in just to get things moving. Thank goodness for them. Food is mediocre at best. Not worth the 170 bucks spent for the terrible service, incorrect drinks and also incorrectly cooked steak that was taken back and cooked further. It was just ridiculous. Avoid at all cost. Wish I did not go there for a mother's day dinner.

Restaurant is pretty, patio is fantastic and the service was good. The food, however, was mediocre at best. I do not feel as if the price matched the quality. The cheese on the pizza tasted spoiled and the pretzel tasted freezer burned. The filet, poor quality and flavorless. I usually try to avoid bad reviews, but we were really disappointed in the food.

Went for Mother's Day Brunch on the late side. The food was not great. Terry our server was attentive and took good care of us. When it was time for dessert there was none. I heard the staff say they wouldn't be putting everything out on the dessert table as there was only 30 min left. When you are paying $45 per person, fill it up. I didn't get a discount as I was late in the service, I deserve the same quality and choices as the first people did.

Food other than beef was horrid. Most stations were empty. What was not was cold. Desserts were from Walmart. Table was not cleared. It was, in a word... horrible. Expensive and horrible. Never going back. Came home and ate. Everyone was hungry.

The food was amazing ! However our server TJ was horrible. He constantly complained about how busy it was and how tired he was. How he was ready to go home. He said he can't catch a break. I was annoyed with his complaint it's Mother's Day and I wanted to enjoy it however it made it very depressing and his energy and vibe was extremely low. I did not tip and I always tip no matter where I go restaurant , salon etc. like I said the food was hands down amazing . I will be back I would just rather have someone that actually enjoys their job.

Brian

We had the Mother's Day buffet. All of the food was exceptional, and take service for kitchen ordered items and drinks was great!
