Good place to eat. I was in St. Louis for a convention, and overall the food I had in St. Louis was mediocre. (Maybe nobody told me the really good places to go!) But the Washington Avenue Bistro was good - the best dinner I had in 3 days! It has a nice ambiance, cool booths as well as tables and a bar. Service the night I went was a bit sketchy and uninformed, but the food was quite good. I had the swordfish which was moist and tasty with a nice sauce and a couple of shrimp. I would go back there again when in downtown St. Louis!
