This place is just okay. The drinks are extremely expensive. $7 for a beer and 16.50/$17 for an old fashion. The DJ was cool but the music was so loud, it was difficult to hold a conversation. Bathroom was clean. The lighting is also pretty bright. I suggest dimming the lights a little more to make it a more club feel.

Have tried to go to this bar twice. First time they didn't update Google Maps with their hours, so they were closed when we got there.Second time the door was locked at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday. Called the number and the person who answered said they'd be right there and the door is locked because there were no customers in the bar. 10 minutes later, we are still waiting outside a locked door. So we left.

Not sure where all the great reviews for this place are coming from. I know a couple guys who promote this place often, so when a friend was in town from Atlanta we stopped in. The people working there were sitting at a table smoking shisha and drinking to where we didn’t even realize they were workers, the other table was full of people in pajamas and sweats playing a card game, there was no music and all the lights were on, we weren’t greeted but were given several side eyes, when the guy finally walked to our table he had an attitude with us immediately. I got the sense the poor treatment was racially based but I have no evidence besides the looks and the vibes. It was an uncomfortable feeling. My friend got an overpriced drink and didn’t even finish it because he didn’t want to stick around, nor did I. He was clowning saying “where did you take me to? This feels like the homeboy spot.” And he was right, it did. He loves whiskey so I thought this might be a good choice but I was very embarrassed that this is what represented a “whiskey bar” in our city. Will definitely not return

Come on a Friday and you will never leave disappointed. They have a DJ spinning the classic old stuff in with the new, you can order in or bring your own food, and might even get a chance to practice that Tamia slide. ?
