Truck driver just passing thru St Louis. I googled best soul food in the city and they popped up I ordered chicken wings and shrimp with side jambalaya and side green beans. Food was great I’ll be back next time I’m in the area

Make sure you call and see if they are open if you are within an hour of their posted closing times. Their website and on Google says they are open until 5pm on Sundays. We live almost 35 minutes away, have busy schedules and Sundays are the only time we can check them out.
We have tried to eat here twice on Sundays, got their a little after 4:00pm both times and their doors are locked and they are closed. I could see their staff through the window. Super frustrating to drive that far twice and they not be open. Don't know if we will ever try eating their again or refer anyone to go their.
The food is so good. I brought some friends from out of town and they were totally impressed with the food.

Food was excellent. So many leftovers! And the food comes in to go containers when you order in the restaurant so it's ready to go when you are.

Found this place on google and decided to check it out. Employees were very welcoming and friendly! Food was absolutely amazing! My boys (7,10) had chicken nuggets and fries and they both said they were the best fries and nuggets they’ve ever had! My husband ordered the red beans and rice, gumbo and green beans and smoked turkey. He enjoyed all three! I’m ashamed I’ve never had green beans with turkey before today. Absolutely recommend that as a side!! I had a fried shrimp po boy and our server recommended some kind of spicy sauce that they have and it did not disappoint! Definitely will be back next time we come to Missouri!

This is it. We’ve been trying to find a St. Louis spot that was true New Orleans. Search is over. My New Orleans soul has been fed.

Best fried shrimp I've ever had. The red beans and rice were also delicious! My friend had the swai PO boy with fries and said it was also delicious. We will go back!

Service was excellent annd food was even better!
We never had authentic cajun food, but the fish and shrimp etouffee are what I'd imagine it would taste like! Big portions that won't leave you hungry.The place was well kept, had atmosphere, and friendly staff and patrons. My wife and I will still be talking about this place and the food a few days from now. This was the best fish dinner we ever had.
