Probably the most authentic tasting gumbo in the city. Flavor was great, I would just add some file or okra to make it less watery. Consistency was perfect on the red beans, but unfortunately no flavor.
I’m from NEW ORLEANS but have resided in STL for years now just found out about this place a month ago and must say there are a lot of imitators but their food is horrible and nothing like home but WHO DAT is a dream come true as a NEW ORLEANS native everything about WHO DAT food is authentically NEW ORLEANS and the service is great too my guy is from here in the STL but now I got him hooked too WE love it and they now have forever customers we tell our friends,family and coworkers...
Our first time going and we loved everything about it! We were welcomed as we entered, the food was hot from the time we started eating till finished. The young man that greeted us, waited on us and entertained us was exceptional and authentic! He was from New Orleans ( you could hear his accent) and the place was decorated like such. We will be back because we loved everything about it! Oh and those cooks( females ) are from New Orleans too. Who Dat!
