Yemanja felt very much like a delightful neighborhood eatery. Welcoming, comfortable, and delicious. I tried the beef empanadas, the shrimp “soup”, a cocktail, and the dessert special - caramel churros. Everything I got was timely and tasty, as were the items my companions ordered. I would absolutely return!

Such a great vibe. I know a few of the waiters they are amazing people. Food is amazing and it’s the best Brazilian in stl. Homey family owned and all fresh food. It’s a must go.

Should update the open hours and days on the internet, I just arrived to St Louis for a 4 days visit want to surprise my wife that is from Brazil and spend $55 in the Uber to make her a surprise when arrived there was a paper hand write in the door and windows saying that they are closed for Thanksgiving when in all sites in the internet they will open at 5:00 pm. For dinner. Really disappointed with this situation so many wonderful reviews and they don't update 😞 in the internet.
Wonderful food! Wonderful atmosphere! Wonderful owners! highly recommend.
Yemanja Brasil did not disappoint. The team was inviting, the service was impeccable and the decor was fun. The waitress even gave us a tutorial on the traditional Brazilian stew (not pictured). The have both indoor and outdoor seating.

10/10 would recommend. Growing up with Brazilian food all around I was so happy to find this gem of a restaurant. The steak special was hands down the best steak I have ever had. But being able to order a Guarana was truly the icing on the cake. Service was wonderful. We definitely cannot wait to come back!
Such a vibe! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Such a great restaurant!
We ordered the empanadas to start. They were so tasty and fresh!
I ordered the Picanha na Brasa. It was a beautiful cut of steak that was extremely tender topped with a flavorful reduction.
My husband ordered the Frango Minas. I wish I could put into words how delicious this dish was. First of all, we do not like raisins. We actually almost didn't order this dish because of that. However, when we took a bite, (my husband described it best) he said it tastes like home. It was such a warm, comforting bite. The meal, you could tell, was made with heart. It was everything you could imagine and more. The raisins were such a great idea too! They added that small taste of fruit.
I wish we lived closer. We would be going here every week.
Not only was the food phenomenal, the service was just as great. We had Debbie as our server. And she was SO FUNNY. We loved catching up with her and learning about her life. She was tentative and provided great service. The other servers and bartender were very kind and tentative as well. They made you feel at home and extremely welcomed.
This is going to be a restaurant we visit often when we are in the STL area.
We visited Friday, the 17th at 8:30pm.

Service and food was good! I do wish I got more protein for the price I paid, but would go back for sure. They do churros on special days, and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

First time visiting this place. We came on a fairly busy Friday evening and had to wait about 15-20 minutes, which wasnt bad. The greeter was very friendly. When we were seated, we ended up on the back deck and it was a nice evening for it. The atmosphere is festive and fun and worked for our date night. We had some fried cheese bites as an appetizer and they were great. The main courses were also good. I haven't had a lot of Brazilian food to compare it to, but it definitely was tasty. Our waitress was friendly as could be and made us feel welcome. I plan to come back.
