I visited this restaurant last Sunday. First I was taking a back by the cook. A white guy as a cook in a soul food restaurant and with an attitude. That alone almost made me leave but I wanted to give them a chance I figured they knew what they were doing by putting him there. Not a good idea. Just my opinion.
I ordered the fried pork chops, dressing and greens. Not good at all. Why do people in St Louis make soggy dressing? Dressing is Supposed to be baked and moist not soggy. the greens way undercooked the fried pork chop it was all right the rest of it I threw away. I will always support my black businesses but not used to soggy dressing I kind of knew better but I wanted to try it anyway and my initial concern was right the dressing was not good not by a long shot. Sorry I don't mean to be harsh but the dressing wasn't even cooked it was just soggy cornbread with an extremely watery gravy.

The establishment has great food and service. Karaoke is always a great time with Chris! I stay 25 minutes away and I will definitely be back.

I am from out of town, we like to look for the local favorites, sure had the experienced at Your Place. Food was just like your mom or grandmother made with a St. louis touch.

I literally cannot give this place a higher rating. First things first, service was 10/10, everyone was literally so sweet to both my son and I.
For the FOOD: Quite literally top 3 meals I’ve ever had in my life and when I tell you I am a FOODIE 😩. Everything had so much flavor, I got smothered pork, Mac n cheese, and dressing with gravy and I could cry because of how delicious. My son got the baked chicken, which literally fell apart because of how juicy it was. Spaghetti, I didn’t even know spaghetti could be that damn good 😭 and mashed potatoes and gravy were also fire. That sweet tea is literally the best tea I’ve ever had. 1000000/10.

The roast beef was amazing! It's my first time in St. Louis and this was a popular favorite. Jordan was an amazing and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. My sister and I had a great time 😊 will definitely recommend and come back.

I will say this the young lady and the owner are nice people… I think some of the plates I had was okay but could’ve been better.. Your Place Dinner. Just remember you never know who gonna walk through those doors.. stay on point and stay consistent. I do have the reviews posted on my Facebook page.
