My husband and I enjoy dining at Mariposa. We do so often. Both alone or with family and friends we are never disappointed. It's been surprising to me how many people don't know about the restaurant. It's been fun to introduce people to Mariposa for their first visit. Chef does a masterful job of making sure that menu's selections are delicious, and served with a nice presentation. I go to Mariposa for the food, which is excellent. The service is great too. The menu is interesting and the food is delicious. However, there are no windows in the main dining room and the bank gets opposite a chair for a table of two are really not my favorite at all.
Often it's hard to find someplace special to go for lunch. This is a place that is always perfect. I'm guilty almost always ordering the same thing. But if I could, I would probably just eat a plate of popovers! I'm sure I'm not the only one!
