Buffet was great, small selection but the food was good. The service was very good, especially for a buffet. Can comment on the price since an anonymous stranger paid the bill for our family of 5. Overall it was a great experience!

We made our way once again to The Old Brick house for their fish , chicken & shrimp buffet. Also had the Great, noodles with sweet stewed tomatoes. This was our 15th visit here & they have always had a very good buffet. Our server was a very nice & polite young lady. She came buy & checked on us quite often. The interior & atmosphere of this old establishment is one of a kind. We plan on coming back many more times....

The building is super neat. The old bar is neat too. The food was decent. We went during the Pecan Festival and they forgot about our order. But they did keep our drinks filled and were kind. I would definitely give them another chance.

This restaurant is located in what is said to be the oldest building west of the Mississippi, built in 1780. It appears to be a family run operation, and we enjoyed their buffet. From salad fixings to roast beef and fried chicken,, the food was delicious and the service was great! The atmosphere is historic and lovely.

This place is exactly what I've been looking for. The waitress provided the best service I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. The food on the buffet was just like grandma would make it. Just simple homecooked food. Sweet tea was fantastic. People with the negative reviews are just used to food being full of chemicals for taste so can't appreciate a simple natural meal. The atmosphere was nice and quite which was pleasant to just sit in the old time bar room and enjoy a quite meal with my wife. I will definitely stop here more when we come to visit our kids that live in st gen. The only suggestion my wife had is they need a dessert option on the buffet

I had a wonderful time. It’s really a classic around here if you want to sit and eat. You get to pick your own food from the buffet or you can order food. They have a bar and everything. Very child friendly too!
