I absolutely love this place. I have a picky eater child and he even asks to come to the Anvil and says they have the best chicken strips! I have been there multiple times and I’ve NEVER had bad service, bad food, or received my check, drinks/refills, and food in not a timely manner. Every visit is a pleasure all around. They are so friendly and helpful no matter who is working. I will always continue to take my family here to eat!
The Anvil has the best fried catfish, crispy and no greasiness!!! The grilled chicken sandwich and their BLT are two more of my favs. And, if you are in the mood for steak, theirs is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Great staff and owners!!!!!!

Great food and great service. We were seated on the landing, which felt a bit confining but that's just the nature of the historic building. Those bathrooms, tho ? They're too small to change your mind in! All in all, a good experience and be happy to stop back in the next time I'm in town.
