★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Horrible Experience – Sonic in Sullivan, MO

I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably bad that I feel like people need to be warned. I stopped at the Sonic in Sullivan expecting a quick bite to eat, but what I got was over 45 minutes of sitting in my car, waiting on food that should’ve taken maybe 5–10 minutes at most. Fast food? Not even close. This was beyond ridiculous.

The worst part is that during my wait, I watched the employees. They weren’t busy rushing to get orders out. Instead, they were standing around, laughing, chatting with each other, and moving at a snail’s pace. There was no sense of urgency or care for the fact that customers were literally stuck waiting forever. It felt like my order was completely forgotten about.

By the time my food finally showed up, it was cold, soggy, and thrown together with no care at all. The burger looked like it had been sitting out for half an hour, the fries were stale, and the drink was watered down and tasted awful. To top it off, they didn’t even bother to include condiments or napkins. It was like they just wanted to shove the food out and be done with it.

On top of the terrible service and food, the place itself is dirty. The parking lot is full of trash, the stalls are sticky and gross, and the trash cans are overflowing. It gives off the vibe that nobody there cares about cleanliness or running this place properly.

This wasn’t just a “bad day” or a small mistake. This was a complete failure of management, staff, and basic customer service. Waiting nearly an hour for fast food, only to get a cold, low-quality meal, is unacceptable. If Sonic corporate saw how this location was being run, they’d be embarrassed.

Do yourself a favor: skip this Sonic entirely. There are plenty of other places around that will actually respect your time and your money. This one is a complete joke and by far the worst Sonic I’ve ever been to.

Seems like they don’t have enough workers to make it work or something. When they first opened, it was great! The last three or four times we’ve been, they’ve taken half hour or better to get food out, or the food we do get is burnt. Not great lately

Came in for lunch, my daughter always asks for a pickle burger. Sonic does it.
The car hop was a red head younger lady, super sweet. Told her I couldn’t do her job lol.

Great specials if you order on the app do it's worth downloading. I highly recommend the strawberry fresh fruit added to the Dr. Pepper. The food is always good and I haven't really had any issues. I eat there at l east once a week and service is pretty much consistent. Order y po ur drinks online and get 50% off 😆
