“We stopped by because my friend recommended this place.We arrived at 4:01 and they opened at 4 pmWe entered an empty restaurant, and the server said we could sit anywhere we wanted. I replied I'd like to sit on top of the bar. She said anywhere, but there and smiled. We were given drink options, and both decided on sweet tea.The server arrived with drinks, and we ordered. I asked for recommendations and ordered french-uletta, and she said i should try. She recommended Jambalaya for a side, and I said sure!My wife ordered Tasso Alfredo. Her meal came with a salad. The server asked if I wanted my jambalaya when she brought the salad. I said yes, please.The salad and jambalaya were TOP NOTCH!Salad was green and fresh, plus the bread was well butted and toasted to perfection! The jambalaya was pretty spicy if you are not into spice.The food arrived and it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were flavorful with the Alfredo. The french-uletta was incredible!The server recommended for dessert a gooey butter cake and vanilla ice cream. We loved the dessert it was amazing, and she brought 2 little extra cakes I can't recall the name, complementary. They were tasty.Definitely recommend this place. Halfway into my meal, I knew I wanted to return. Seldom do I find a place I absolutely love and this place is one.Well, one in a million.“

“Went on a Sunday. The four stars instead of three stars is really for our server Maddi who was attentive. We ordered a half order of nachos for an appetizer. There was barely ANY chicken and barely any of their cheese sauce on them. They were OK but when I inquired about extra sauce they said it would be an extra $6!!!!! Then our actual dinner orders came out. My shrimp and cajun potatoes were very good. Side salad was just alright. My friend ordered the shrimp BLT. He said it was good but again, they shorted him on the sauce. Would not order the nachos again simply because there was basically no chicken or sauce on them. Would advise on them being a little more generous on, at the very least, the sauces.“

“We held our Client Appreciation Party at Lazy Gators recently for the Fran Campbell Team at RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks. The food was AMAZING! Everyone raved about the bar-be-que and pizza. The lake setting is the best! It could have been warmer, but JG provided heaters. We filled the space and our clients did not leave hungry :) If you haven't been before...you should definitely give Shady Gators/Lazy Gators a try!“
