Franky & Louie's Beachfront Bar & Grill

We enjoy driving our boat to Franky and Louie’s because it’s close to our lake home, but also because it’s a fun atmosphere. We also love Dylan (sp?) the bartender who is always kind and friendly. The food is typical bar fare with a tropical twist which isn’t as appealing to my palette but others might find it uniquely delicious. One night there was live music in the covered space which was great since it was a bit chilly. The beach area also gives it a fun vibe!

Had a terrible, terrible experience here. My friends and I were in the Ozarks celebrating a friend's wedding, and decided to stop here for some dinner. All was well and fine, the food was very mediocre, but then something very strange happened. The boss and security aggressively stormed up to our table and asked us "Which one of you thought it was a good idea to tell a 14 year old girl to strip". We all were extremely thrown off and told them nothing like that happened. They refused to listen to us and told us we had to leave immediately. We tried to explain that there was no way this was the correct table, or there was some misunderstanding. We asked if they had checked the cameras or checked with other tables, but they refused to do so and stayed threatening us. The way they falsely accused us over something incredibly harmful without letting us even speak was disturbing. We even had a police officer dining with us to which they laughed off, most likely because he was black. We were, in fact, the only table with black people, and I would not be surprised if this was part prejudice.

Our only guess as to why the food runner thought someone said that is because she wore hearing aids, and my friend had to repeat the words "COCONUT SHRIMP" over and over again as she attempted to hand him the wrong plate. Again, there's no reasoning with people like that. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. False and random accusations with mediocre food.

So much fun! The food was great, a little pricey, but worth it. I recommend the pizza. If you go with friends, and you order pizza, watch out... it will come out much sooner than other foods- or much later. The live music was a blast! Everyone was dancing and having a great time. They know how to pick their entertainers! They had a swimming 'beach', sand volleyball, and a cute little ice cream parlor with sugar/waffle cones (amazing ice cream!! at a great price too!! It is cash only at the ice cream stand)
The service was great, and the crowd was fun too. Very loud, so if you're wanting a place to chat with friends, you may want to sit further away from the stage area, or go elsewhere.
Overall this place in in my Top 10 places to visit at LOZ!

Good place with a great atmosphere. Good food, cant beat the prices of cocktails and beers. Good ice creams, live music and toilet facilities.

It was a Saturday night and packed. The servicer was nice but was so overworked that we rarely saw her. The pizza arrived a good 1\2 hour before the rest of our orders. I could not find the cheese on the French dip and the meat was overcooked, the server had to bring me the dipping sauce. The side salad that was an upcharge for a side was premade and the croutons were soft from being in the fridge. The fried fish and frys were soggy and cold.
The band was loud but did keep us entertained while we waited.

Yes it was a Saturday night. Yes the place was packed. Yes the band was rocking. But the food was overpriced, tasted like it was week old buns accompanying a flavorless chicken breast. The poor waitress did her best but I knew we were in for trouble when our simple chicken wraps and sandwich arrived 45 minutes after my daughters pizza.

Kids meals were 10$ and did not include drinks. The kids Mac and cheese was just kraft with a few French fries. The Cubano sandwich was very skimpy on the meat and only a few fries. Portion size in general was lacking. Pizza was good. Atmosphere is where they shine, beach, sand volleyball, live music.

Horrible treatment by staff there and our group was not in any way obnoxious or unruly. The “security guard” was unnecessarily rude and embarrassing. Will not go back.

Sketchy place, never thought someone would try to pick a fight with me and my elementary age kid in a parking lot just trying to get to our truck in the afternoon, but the Guys living at the trailer park next door will… there’s plenty of better safer places to go on the lake…
