I've experienced their donuts before through other people and today I visited myself. I wasn't sure what to expect at 9am on a Friday because everyone knows that even at 9am, that can be late for donuts. Their selection was still great and I was able to get a nice assortment. I especially love the options for fillings. I'm used to jelly and custard donuts being pre filled. They'll do that on the spot with about 5 different filling options. If this is not a new thing it was certainly new to me. Staff was great, price was great, I'll continue passing on the recommendations I received from people on to other people. Their donuts just taste very fresh and it was easy, in and out.

Hands down best tasting donuts I’ve had in stl. I grew up near the ellisville location and have been going since the 90s when it was just a small shop. They’ve since expanded that location AND opened another location on Lindbergh. The new location is just as good as the original with friendly staff, fresh donuts made every day, and even have empty shells that they fill to order so you can customize your shell/filling!

With great products comes great demand! The earlier you can get there, the better selection you have. They don’t mass produce donuts to reduce waste at the end of the day which ensures they can minimize losses and continue to make quality donuts!

The Apple fritter, blueberry cake, and bacon/caramel donuts all MUST BE tried! However all donuts are sure to please. Keep it up Donut Palace!

My order: Apple fritter, 2 blueberry cake, 3 bacon/caramel, 2 powder sugar shells (1 lemon filled, 1 chocolate fluff filled).
Total cost: $20+tip

Some say expensive…I disagree. That comes out to a $2.50 average. Worth every penny, especially when you look at their competition is producing.

Dough is too dense. Customizing your own filling to donut shell is fun!

Used to be one of our favorite places for donuts! Now I have been there 3 to 5 times this summer and they have no donuts in Ellisville location. I think since they open the Sunset Hills location they forgot about the Ellisville location. I was just there at 8:25 this morning, and they had a total of 24 donuts left. Not a way to run a business.

Friendly staff, big delicious donuts, excellent coffee. I highly recommend them.

It may just be inflation and I realize everything is expensive because of Sunset Hills taxes but $18 for 8 donuts is crazy to me!

I was worried reading the reviews that said there was no selection but we tried anyway and I’m so glad we did! We had a 5 star experience today. We got there at 9:15am on Sunday and there were plenty of staff ready to help, it was absolutely spotless and our donuts were so so good. I had a long jon they filled with custard on the spot! We will be back.

they are always out of most everything. I've gone four different times in the last two weeks and each time they were out of most donuts. Really frustrating. Don't waste the trip.

Inventory is hit or miss. It's hard to know when what you like will be sold out, well before closing.
