Amazing local deli. The muffulino is exactly what an Italian sub should be. This place has great, fresh ingredients. I will definitely make this a regular place.

Great people, amazing sandwiches! The Fall Turkey is the best!! For the spring you can rename it spring turkey! Or the sandwich for the derms in town! Either way amazing bread, one of the best delis/sandwich places I’ve ever been!

This place is so good it could be in Manhattan with a line out the door. Every ingredient is high quality. The sandwiches are thoughtfully and tastefully made with excellent pairings of meats, cheeses, breads, and spreads. I've had the turkey club, muffulino, and reuben. The pastries are amazing too.

Absolutely amazing food. Great food with a homemade taste. I had the matzo ball soup and it was just amazing. Also had some of the sandwiches which are equally fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong stopping in and getting anything.

Please do yourself a favor and go grab lunch at Bricklayer! My husband and I are major foodies and we both agreed that their sandwiches are some of the best we’ve ever had. I love that their menu is seasonal and it always seems like they are experimenting with something new. Anytime I go I pick up a few loaves of sourdough to keep on hand in our freezer because it’s so delicious. You can tell that their food is fresh, locally sourced, handmade and has so much heart put into it. My only complaint is that it’s 30 minute away and I wish I could be there more often!! As people who used to live in St. Louis and were surrounded by a great food scene that we greatly miss, it’s VERY exciting to see a quality place like Bricklayer out this way. You won’t regret stopping by!

I have not yet had the opportunity to visit their storefront yet. I was, however, lucky enough to be at the Chamber meeting today that they catered. It was fantastic! I will definitely be visiting the restaurant this week!

Stopped here after reading about it in Feast Magazine. Came in the morning and unfortunately lunch sandwiches and salads not available yet. Did purchase a fresh loaf of Country Sourdough Bread, a Bodego Breakfast Sandwich and some Spinach in addition to Bacon, Sausage Kolaches that were in the freezer section. Not too many pastries around that day except cinnamon rolls which was a bummer. I was informed that they sell a lot more items at Lake St Louis Farmers Market on Saturdays. All the food was delicious, just wish I could have tried more then. I’ll be back though.
Delicious. Loved it. Wish we could eat there, too.

Oh my GOODNESS! My husband and I had to try this new place out and was so impressed with the sandwiches AND got several homemade desserts to go! So thankful to have such a cool new place in Troy that puts a lot of love, thought and time into their ingredients! We will be back.
Delicious sandwiches. We also bought their sour dough loaf and we ate it in 3 days. Can't wait to try our next purchase.
So good I will eat here twice in one day. The turkey club is the best.
