There’s nothing better than finding someone local who knows how to make a delicious pernil. The food hit all the right spots and the owner was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you’re craving something authentic and made with love.

My family and I ordered the 'Arroz con Gandules y Pernil, traditional beef, cheese and green onion, and buffalo chicken empandas as well as the sweet plantains and strawberry refreshers'. The pork, apart of the entree dish, was delicious, tender and pulled apart with ease. The rice that came with it was super flavorful and everything paired nicely with the sauce that came on the side. Now, the empandas, some of the best empandas I have ever had. I highly recommend the traditional beef. They came hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. Afterwards, it was nice to have the contrasting flavors of the sweet plantains and the refreshers as they balanced the savory flavors from everything else. I will definitely be back (everyone is raving about the sweet empandas and I need to try). And, please support small, local businesses!! This place is amazing and the owner is wonderful. So go check them out!!

I Love food trucks. This place has great food and has a niche that nobody else does and that empanadas! And they do it well! What they don’t do well is business! 1st large order forgot 5 Buffalo Chicken empanadas, Second order forgot 3 sausage and gravy. This last order that I put in on a Tuesday, to pick up on a Saturday they canceled 1/2 hour before my pickup after telling me all week we were good. They could go so much further if they practice better business. They better hope someone doesn’t do what they do only with a better business practice!

I figured the food would be good, based on others talking about it. But it was still even better than I expected! I got the cabana bowl, and a guava cheesecake empanada. the chicken was soo moist and flavorful, and the cilantro garlic sauce was perfect! The empanada dough was the perfect texture of not too soft, not too crunchy. And the cheesecake filling was so unique! it wasn't super sweet, and paired so well with the guava filling. On top of the food being so good, the owner is soo nice.
