This place is awesome! I had the arroz con gandules, tostones and pernil, and they were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I also tried a Cuban coffee, which was rich and delicious. My friends had the Cuban sandwich and really enjoyed it too. The food was fresh, authentic, and served with great attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

The empanadas were awesome! Especially loved the cheese and onion empanada. Fast service and the owners were very nice. If you haven't been I highly recommend. I WILL be back.

Update: We finally made it back, and the food was incredible! We tried so many different things from the menu and everything was delicious. My favorites were definitely the Papa Rellena, the Cassava fries, and the traditional beef empanada. I can't wait to go back and try the Arroz con gandules y Pernil next time.

If you've been thinking about trying this restaurant, don't hesitate—you absolutely have to go. The food is fantastic, and it's an experience you won't regret.

Previous: I've been excited to try this restaurant and drove to Troy today, Saturday @ 4pm and they were closed. Disappointing.

Food is amazing. Authentic spanish Island foods. The cuban, the best ive had in the midwest. Have to go to NYC or Miami to get one that good in the states. Everything was delicious owner was soo nice and her staff were friendly, busy, and working fast. You don't get food like this in rural areas. It's a real treat

We had empanadas, a Cuban sandwich, yucca fries and a mango splasher. All were very good. The Cuban is very, very meaty and filling. Everything is cooked fresh and made in house, so there can be a little wait. You can check out their menu through Door Dash and just call in an order ahead of time if you want to avoid the wait. There is a nice waiting area with 6 seats, but no tables for dining in. The couple running the place are very mindful of the customers, polite and professional. This is well worth trying!

Folks, if you haven't been here, you're missing out. Everything is out of this world. I've had the pleasure of consuming everything they offer and the empanadas are the best I've ever had, no contest. The Cuban coffee is on point too! Received a free sample of dulce leche yesterday that was fire as well. Just be aware there is not currently a dine-in option.

The food is made fresh when you order, they are always busy, and it's a solo wife/husband duo with one watching the kids at home while the other works, so be prepared for a wait, or call the order in. They're both super friendly and overall great people too. We are very fortunate to have such an amazing and affordable delicacy in our option limited area. Wishing you guys much success!

Two very lovely humans own and operate this little carry out place. Friendly with a deep passion for the food and culture they share with their customers is how I would describe them. We had Cuban sandwiches and yucca fries. They were fantastic and that garlic sauce was delicious! Can't wait to go back. If you haven't gone, GO!

Pork with rice and pigeon peas was perfectly yummy, while the green sauce added extra flavor and heat. Perfect combinations!
Dominican Cake - warm spices and cream topping hit the taste buds quickly.
The mango drink was yummy!
Great service! We shall return!

There’s nothing better than finding someone local who knows how to make a delicious pernil. The food hit all the right spots and the owner was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you’re craving something authentic and made with love.
