The almond milk is so chunky I don’t even want to drink the $8 latte I bought :( I’m allergic to dairy milk so it always bothers me when places charge an entire $1 extra for substitutes.

I’ve been going to Kevlar almost every day for months now, I’ve had some inconsistency in the past with the one specific drink I get every day. Jaylen is the sweetest, most welcoming face I’m excited to greet everyday, she knows my order at this point and never fails to make sure my nuclear blast is made right every time. Being pregnant and having that as my biggest pregnancy craving, it means so much lol. So thank you Kevlar, and huge thank you to Jaylen for making my day better every time:)

I didn’t catch the young girls name , but it was my first time there , and she asked to make a mystery drink for me ! She took the time to ask me what I liked/ didn’t like. I got the drink and holy moly !! It was so yummy ! It was a Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte with whipped topping & cinnamon on top !

I was so happy when I found this place cause I love a good coffee, and I love to help our local business cause is sad I have seen many great local places going out of business and Troy needs to be successful for the benefit of all. As a widow of a Marine Corps veteran, I'm proud of our veterans and always happy to support their business, so here I was super happy to find this place. Since that day I ve been buying coffee and other drinks everyday, they gave me a card that they punch a hole every purchase and when you fill it up you have a free drink. All that was awesome, until 2 days ago. I ordered my Almond coffee with 2 extra shots of expresso, like everyday plus another dink. When I received my coffee the girl at the window said, here is a caramel coffee, I said a what? She repeated caramel coffee, I said no I order an Almond coffee, I'm allergic to caramel. So she close the windows and another woman came to the windows and asked, what's was wrong with the coffee? I said I ordered Almond and they made a caramel, I'm allergic to caramel . She said we'll you ordered caramel, I said no I ordered Almond. It couldn't be a big deal if I wasn't allergic to caramel, so I couldn't just drink it and forget about. So she said the other girl repeated the order back to you and I have in the cameras, I said ok let's see the cameras then , I never ordered a caramel, unless I want to hurt or kill myself I didn't order caramel. She said we'll you can pay for another Almond coffee or drink the caramel one. Right there was so disrespectful by dismissing my allergy that could have serious consequences. I asked her to let me talk to the manager, she said she was the manager, her name was Elisa. I said can I then talk to the owner, she told me I can email them but she can not give me more information. I just think that it was not handled properly, they could have made a new coffee and have a happy customer going back everyday like I was, but instead they lost a customer that day. Sad that things like this are self destroying business. And sad cause it was a good coffee. The very first day I went to this place, I saw a guy in a truck in front of me , he was at the window and I saw him returning a drink, then I saw him opening the lid and putting the drink on the floor, he looked upset. Now I thinking that probably something like this happened to him as well. That's a way to slowly lose customers. Shame cause like I said is a good coffee but just imagine if they disregard of my allergy like that, that would be a matter of suing some people.
