Great atmosphere! I love all the colors and the inspiring vibe. There are lots of seating options to choose from—whether you prefer a soft, cozy seat or a taller, bar-height spot. There’s even a workspace that’s super soothing.

I had my usual vanilla latte, and it was delicious—no complaints! It came in a glass instead of a mug, but that’s not a big deal. The music was awesome too. I didn’t even bother putting on my own playlist because it felt like they were already playing my favorite songs.

Perfect spot for working with others or just getting things done solo.

Best coffee shop in STL! Love the vibe and the building it’s in is awesome. There is free parking just north and it’s a quick walk in! We had a cappuccino, Americano, and a cinnamon roll. All three were top class!

Parking: Just north of the building. Signs directing you to the shop from the lot.

Phenomenal coffee, yhe kind that makes you say to yourself that was good after each sip. You can really taste the flavors of beans and it's much more than just dark and roasted. Easiest to access from the east side as it prevents you from having to wonder through the rest of the building.

I am a coffee snob so believe me when I this place is such a good spot if you want a really well crafted latte. Been going since they opened, great vibe and great service.

The banana and Nutella toast was 10/10. The cookie is a staple. And the coffee is always a hit.

Black Lab is such a great addition to the area. Wonderful ambiance. Natural lighting, hanging plants, colorful art, and a variety of seating, plus upbeat tunes. Oh, and the coffee is fantastic. I live near some great coffee shops in the city, but this place is worth the extra 10-minute drive. I’ll be back often.

Black Lab Coffee Shop is located in TechArtista's co-working spot in University City. It’s a huge space to work or hang out. It’s colorful with natural light over the central bar area. Its aesthetic is modern and colorful with decor of contemporary art and plants.

Their expertly brewed coffee is sourced from a variety of roasters around the world for some rich and flavorful cups. The baristas are friendly, always ready to recommend a new brew or customize your drink. In addition to coffee, there are some baked goods by founder, Tommy Meyer. The service was attentive and quick.

We stopped in for a coffee and cookie before some birthday festivities. We were able to do a little work as well. There are plugs everywhere so you’ll have plenty of juice.

Black Lab hosts many workshops, networking sessions, and art exhibitions so follow them for some professional growth, community engagement and social interaction.
