El Maguey Mexican restaurant

The waitress was not attentive at all. She took the order, brought the order, and dropped off the bill. During that time, I wanted to order another drink but I am not one to chase down a waitress. Next, after reviewing the bill, she added 15% gratuity for a table of 2. There are NOT any signs indicating this additional layer nor was her services worth 15%. I will always leave a tip - however it is based on the service and in this case it would have been 8-10% not the enforced 15%

I loved the food! Large portions, very tasty, fresh and served hot! Service was phenomenal. I will definitely come again!

I don’t like this place at all, they tacos are nasty and the nachos are. The employee that was taking our order was rude and mad because he didn’t understand us. They make you pay before you even get your food and they try to say they won’t exchange it if it’s nasty. The food was cold also. The only person who speaks English was not around at all and the only thing that was good was the drinks.

The decor is wonderful! The service was great, but we went to pay bill for 66 and change, and we only had a 100$ bill. They didn't have it, but they did try go find change but couldn't. so they gave us changed and a $1 or so because they didn't have proper charge. I loved the salsa and chips and rice, though the beans where to salty and I love salt. Chicken taco was good but my didn't realize it had sour cream, yuck. The beef taco was very bland. Wear a sweater because I froze .

Stumbled across this quite by accident and will be back! Authentic food, friendly staff and great prices. Only suggestion is that the music was a little loud for conversation. Highy recommended.
