The food was so good, and the owner was incredibly nice!
The service was very good and the people were kind. But the bahn mi was the worst I have ever had. The tofu was either chewy, or had the consistency of croutons. No joke. The sandwich was bland, and the spring rolls had more vermicelli than anything else. Bland as well. We had to douse everything in peanut sauce to make it work. Totally not worth it at any price point, absolutely not at the current price point.

Two pieces of meat on my Bahn mi. Literally the most disappointing Bahn mi I’ve ever had. No hot sauce on the side as asked. I basically ate a pickled carrot sandwich.
I got catfished. The Banh Mi I got was the skinny kind that kids get as a snack, yet they charged the full 10 dollars for. The bread is lighter like the kind you get at a sub shop shaped like a baguette and not an actual baguette bread. The meat was alright and the veggies were barely pickled, and no Jalapeños were found on my sandwich. I came to get the banh mi I saw in the photos but the one I got was far from it. I wish I took a photo but I already took a bite before I realized the buffoonery that occurred.

These are the Vietnamese equivalent of those one-slice-of-bologna sandwiches you might've eaten as a kid: overpriced for the amount you get, underwhelming in how it tastes. The owner's background in a bakery shows--the bread is quite good, if you like it on the flaky side--but the fillings are meh, and as the old joke goes...such small portions! Seriously, an almost equal amount of cilantro to protein in a 9" sandwich for $10 is bordering on scam, even with the prices of ingredients these days. If you're in U City, go to to Nudo House down the street instead. Or, honestly, anywhere else.
Always good!

I've been looking for a GOOD bahn mi sandwich in Denver and I finally found it! This place is really delicious. Service was quick and kind. The bread is huge and delicious. I had the grilled lemongrass pork sandwich and egg rolls. I will definitely come back.

I had the Pork Banh Mi here the other day and it was refreshing and filling with a hint of spice. This restaurant has some of the freshest bread I've ever seen used, and the owner knows their way around a Banh Mi. (I say this as a self-professed Banh Mi Expert).
If you love Banh Mi, but are looking for a fresh update to the beloved vietnamese sandwich, give this place a shot!
For the owner: Tiger 88 was the name of the other place I mentioned.

This banh mi was average at best. We chose the seitan & tofu options. Both sandwiches lacked flavor and were dry. The tofu had nothing to it, which feels strange to say. It was like cubed bread & very airy.

Hidden spot, signage is small so look for it on the door/windows.
Good options. Solids food.

One of the finer banh mi shops of STL. The restaurant was clean and had seating indoors and outdoors. The service was quick and very friendly. I ordered the specialty sandwich with multiple meats and my partner got the bbq. The food came up in a timely manner and the man was even so kind to bring my dog a water bowl. I’ll be coming back ((:

The menu shows noodles , but they do not have on the menu at the restaurant. Please clean up your menu so people will know before they arrive .
To owner : I was just in there on my first visit . The menu at the counter did not have it on the menu and the young man at the counter said you do not carry .
This restaurant was located in the Ucity Loop.
