“The food was delivered off the stove hot and everything taste amazing! I got Yellow Curry with Potatoes and Onions, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai Noodles (with Tofu) and Crispy Egg Rolls... all delicious. Absolute fire! Will now be my go to Thai restaurant.

Update as of April 19, 2022. This last order was so bad I threw most everything away. The Pad Thai Noodles had dry coarse chicken pieces and no vegetables. I ordered the Yellow Curry with potatoes with pork... the meat was dry and tasteless and the curry was super sweet. I don't know why the food was so bad this time, but I can't risk it by going back.“

“From the view on Google maps, it looks like a sit down place. I guess you could say that, it's 1 table. The rest of the inside is filled with boxes. They need to refresh their paint inside, looks like a lot of old smoke in it (light brown/yellow).
As far as the service & food, it was great! Walked in, placed an order & about 10 min I had my order. During that time they had a lot of call in orders & some online. I kept hearing average wait time 30-45 min due to the size of the orders.
Prices seem a little high, but then again everything has gone up lately & I don't often eat out.“

I recently tried Thai Nivas Cafe after hearing mixed reviews from friends, and overall, it was a decent experience — but not without its flaws.

The flavors in most dishes were authentic and vibrant. The Pad Thai had a nice balance of sweet and tangy, and the Eggplant Curry had a rich, sweet texture with just the right level of savoury. The staff were polite and tried to be helpful, even though they seemed a bit overwhelmed. The ambiance was homely but felt a bit dated, and the lighting could use a softer touch for a cozier vibe.

The portion sizes were medium for the price, but the presentation was attractive. Their Chilli sauce was good.

All in all, Thai Nivas Cafe is worth a try if you're craving Thai food in the area, but it's not somewhere I’d rush back to. With a bit more quantity, it could easily become a local favorite.“

“This China King is under New Management and when I tell you I went at the beginning of November 2024, ordered Chicken Egg foo yu and Fried gizzards .... DELICIOUS!!! The gravy on the Chicken egg foo yu is so good and their Fried gizzards are the best in St Louis, they practically melt in your mouth and the onions help make the flavor. And the food was fresh, hot and soooo good. This husband and wife team know how to cook, they are respectful and kind, and have not only my respect but will have my business from now on. Thank you!!! “this is one of my favorite restaurants that I often get takeout from, but rarely dine in - for my birthday i convinced my parents (who aren't very familiar with east asian cuisine) to accompany me to dine in. They were a bit hesitant but the staff were very helpful and patient with them, and helped explain what they ordered. The food was delicious, and my picky parents were extremely impressed and eager to come back to try more unfamiliar dishes. I wish I could have properly thanked the staff. KS&T never disappoints, PLEASE give them your business, you won't regret it.

We ordered chicken katsu (kabuki's chicken katsu is my absolute comfort food), general tsao's chicken, a mixed appetizer plate (as a main dish), edamame, and crab rangoon. all were devoured eagerly. The two main dishes came with tasty vegies and wonderful miso.“
