This was my first time at Redbeard's. I had mahi mahi with garlic mashed potatoes and it was delicious! The prices were a little high in general, but in our rural area that is to be expected. This was a special occasion eat-out, so I didn't mind. It is worth stopping in if you have never tried it!

Awesome restaurant, well worth the drive out of downtown Van Buren to check it out! My chicken breast was PERFECTLY cooked. Spiced, seared on the outside, soft yet hot on the inside. Excellent service as well. I'll be back!

For a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, they had pretty good seafood. We got the crab cakes, a seafood boil and the kids fettuccine. The portions were really good and there a lot of large shrimp in the boil. The server was great and the service was fairly quick. We got there shortly after they opened. I think the are only open on the weekends after 4. Easily the best restaurant in Van Buren for a great meal. We will definitely go again next time we're in town floating.

I stopped in two weeks ago on a Friday night at around 9:00 the restaurant was busy almost all the tables were full. We got seated quickly the waitress was very polite, we got our drinks on a timely manner and she took our orders. Like I said they were busy it took a bit to get our food but when we did the food was awesome as was the service. We will definitely eat there again, I recommend the crab cakes they have the best seafood sauce!

It is off the main highway, about a mile. Great food, but it seems they are charging city prices. I was certainly surprised to order a typical pasta plate, with 5 grilled shrimp for $22. Overall, it's a great place, great atmosphere!!

Went for first time since new ownership. Had been once prior under former owners. WE WON'T BE BACK. Ordered spinach dip...apparently a frozen item they just warm up-but it was served with top and bottom burned-i mean crusty brown/black. I thought perhaps it was supposed to be dark on top until I started scooping and found the bottom was stuck to the pan. Due to enormous price hikes from former menu, I ordered a hamburger; or as menu stated, "build a burger." I've had build a burger options before at other places, but they didn't start out, meat on a bun only at $14! Onions $1.00, lettuce $.50, etc. And lettuce? Oh it came out with one leaf of lettuce...ONE LEAF!!! Chicken wings were over cooked but due to BBQ sauce, could be eaten. One dessert was ordered; a brownie Sundae, which comes with icecream and whipped cream. Owners came out with our waitress stating though they were out of icecream, he would go right then to get some if we could wait five minutes. Tried to back out yet they insisted. We wait, and after a bit we decide just forget dessert, to which we're told " but it's already started being put together" I'm guessing by the cook?)...yes, we decided not to get it but it was very much implied we now had to get it! And before our wait person left the table stating such, here comes some fellow (cook?) with said brownie on a plate with whipped cream adorning the corners of it and no icecream. Same price of course, but no icecream. It was not finished-plating or eaten. Some may ask why we ate what was brought; why didn't we say something-tried, but was so loud our server kept missing what we'd try to say. I had to correct them twice as they heard wrong, due to noise ( no fault of their own). But I've learned too what can happen when you tell someone about food issues-and it isn't pleasant. Not to mention, this meal was absolutely not a $100 meal. First time under former management was great and had no problem paying as we got great food. Not so much now. I'm sorry, but it's a nope.

Went there tonight 3 of them ordered the 40 bucket, crawfish were awful! The waiter told us, if for some reason you don’t want the sausage you can replace with shrimp or one crab cluster, got the bill they took off sausage and charged 14.50 extra! I ordered the shrimp tacos, no flavor at all, only good thing was the onion straws! 165.00 down the drain, left hungry! Learned our lesson never again! Also tried to order oysters, out of them

We had a new waitress who was training and she did an exceptional job. But what’s more it was nice to see her coworker coming over to tell us she was new and what a great job she was doing. The food was great too!!

This place is way over priced and the food is subpar. Ordered a burger and it wasn’t cooked so they cooked it more and brought it back for me to finish. No thanks. Service was less than perfect too as we also had to wait in a line to pay. Drive as far as you can from this place and eat somewhere else.

Had the ribeye and sweet potato fries. The steak was thick, tender and juicy. The fries were also great. The meal was perfect. I will eat here again.
