Went for first time since new ownership. Had been once prior under former owners. WE WON'T BE BACK. Ordered spinach dip...apparently a frozen item they just warm up-but it was served with top and bottom burned-i mean crusty brown/black. I thought perhaps it was supposed to be dark on top until I started scooping and found the bottom was stuck to the pan. Due to enormous price hikes from former menu, I ordered a hamburger; or as menu stated, "build a burger." I've had build a burger options before at other places, but they didn't start out, meat on a bun only at $14! Onions $1.00, lettuce $.50, etc. And lettuce? Oh it came out with one leaf of lettuce...ONE LEAF!!! Chicken wings were over cooked but due to BBQ sauce, could be eaten. One dessert was ordered; a brownie Sundae, which comes with icecream and whipped cream. Owners came out with our waitress stating though they were out of icecream, he would go right then to get some if we could wait five minutes. Tried to back out yet they insisted. We wait, and after a bit we decide just forget dessert, to which we're told " but it's already started being put together" I'm guessing by the cook?)...yes, we decided not to get it but it was very much implied we now had to get it! And before our wait person left the table stating such, here comes some fellow (cook?) with said brownie on a plate with whipped cream adorning the corners of it and no icecream. Same price of course, but no icecream. It was not finished-plating or eaten. Some may ask why we ate what was brought; why didn't we say something-tried, but was so loud our server kept missing what we'd try to say. I had to correct them twice as they heard wrong, due to noise ( no fault of their own). But I've learned too what can happen when you tell someone about food issues-and it isn't pleasant. Not to mention, this meal was absolutely not a $100 meal. First time under former management was great and had no problem paying as we got great food. Not so much now. I'm sorry, but it's a nope.

Went there tonight 3 of them ordered the 40 bucket, crawfish were awful! The waiter told us, if for some reason you don’t want the sausage you can replace with shrimp or one crab cluster, got the bill they took off sausage and charged 14.50 extra! I ordered the shrimp tacos, no flavor at all, only good thing was the onion straws! 165.00 down the drain, left hungry! Learned our lesson never again! Also tried to order oysters, out of them

We had a new waitress who was training and she did an exceptional job. But what’s more it was nice to see her coworker coming over to tell us she was new and what a great job she was doing. The food was great too!!

This place is way over priced and the food is subpar. Ordered a burger and it wasn’t cooked so they cooked it more and brought it back for me to finish. No thanks. Service was less than perfect too as we also had to wait in a line to pay. Drive as far as you can from this place and eat somewhere else.

My family and I were in town tonight and decided to try Redbeard’s. We ordered our food, and about 45 minutes a table to people who obviously knew one of the waiters very well came in. That table had food out within 20 minutes, while our table and a table of about 20 people who were there before us were still waiting for food. It had been about 1 hr and 15 minutes by this point, so I asked our waitress for an update on our food. About 5 minutes later, the waitress said they were about to start our food. We had been there for 1 hr and 20 minutes and they had not even started our food, but a table who had been there 20 minutes had food in front of them. We found this unacceptable, so we just left. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to this incredibly unprofessional behavior.

We came in with 10 people and split between 2 tables. 4 at one, 6 at another. I was apart of the 6. Our server hardly checked on us. They were busy but we waited THREE hours. The group of 4 was done and paid before we even got our food. I’ve been a server and I’ve worked at extremely busy restaurants. Three hours is unacceptable. So we politely explained it to the server and manager. The managers excuse was “we are busy” okay I run a business and I hand out free stuff ALL the time. The fact this manager gave me an excuse. Then had the nerve to get in my face and said “I run a f*cking business.” Couldn’t do 10% off? Couldn’t give me $5 off. Bullsh*t. She was childish and shouldn’t be running a business. My friends food was over cooked. What’s the point of complaining??? We were starving and knew it would be another hour before new food came out. She also gave my friends, the family of 4 a DISCOUNT. But didn’t think we should get one??? I will never come here again. Lol so don’t go with your group cause you will wait 3 hours. I tried to be nice at first but she didn’t care at all. She shouldn’t be manager, simple as that 🤷🏼♀️. My boyfriend ended up paying cause she deserve a dime after she thought she could get in MY face and threatened to call the cops. Hope she learns some respect. $75 isn’t worth that trash place. Not to mention, my 2 friends who ate the seafood are now sick at home.

WOW, I don't know where even start on this. I was totally surprised, on the seafood that they offered in such a small town and the quality of the food. Pull up to this metal building, something that you would think person would have out in the country to repair cars at. You walk into a unique atmosphere. Quality this meal was just incredible the steak is something that you would find Chicago New York or LA. Seafood is surprisingly out there also. A great experience, definitely worth your trip to be blown away with the quality of the product. five stars absolutely
