WOW, I don't know where even start on this. I was totally surprised, on the seafood that they offered in such a small town and the quality of the food. Pull up to this metal building, something that you would think person would have out in the country to repair cars at. You walk into a unique atmosphere. Excellent food! Mahi-mahi was perfection, as were the catfish filets and all the sides. A special surprise were the fried pickles! Reminded us of the ones we used to get at Levee Landing in Hayti! Very thin and very crispy! This place is hidden but try it out!
My husband and his Friend ate there and were charged a ridiculous amount when the menu said otherwise!! My husbands was supposed to be $10 but it was $16!!They told the cashier which I believe was the owner about it and she said that their menus don't have prices and when she looked at the menu they had gave them and it did have prices she still charged them the overly priced amount! now 16 dollars isn't a horrible price for a cheese burger and drink but it is if it was suppose...read full review

HJ Redbeard's Bar & Grill is an out of the way restaurant with good seafood. The food is phenomenal, with meals like Teriyaki Chicken, Catfish Platter, and Seafood Bucket. The homemade Tartar Sauce and sides like fries, green beans, and moist baked potatoes are great. The price is a little more than expected but worth it, and is compared to any fancy seafood place in KC. The service is friendly and professional. The owner helps around the restaurant. Come when it's dry due to a steep, gravel driveway. Overall, will be back.
