I was excited to eat here, a local popular cafe. So disappointed. The waitress wouldn't give me a menu, and the portions were ridiculously small. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was so small. The server seemed inconvenienced by my presence, and the food itself was terrible. Please do better as an introduction to the Ozarks.
After reading the reviews, we were very excited to go try this place out. It looks like nothing fancy but that was fine with us. We went specifically for the Buffett but in any of the reviews or anywhere online did it mention they ONLY have the buffet on certain days, basically weekends and only certain times. Their buffet is so so good. You can tell it is homemade. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, cheesy potatoes, homemade rolls and corn bread, smothered meat balls, ham, green beans and carrots and a full salad bar along with homemade desserts. Soooo worth the trip. Everyone was super nice and working hard.
