“I'm from out of town and stopped here on a whim. Had a great time playing pool, keno, darts, and chatting with the other patrons. The bartender (Sara) was amazing - very attentive, helpful, and funny. At some point, the owner stopped in and had a game on the TV where we connect with our phones and answer questions and all play against each other, which was super fun!I will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.”

“This Sonic has the best burgers of any where we have eaten. The fries are hot and crispy and the car hops are always friendly. We go on Tuesdays after 5 so we get the 1/2 price cheeseburgers.”

“The building is a bit worn from the weather and age of it, but the food and service stand out among those with the highest quality at the lake! The owner was very polite and helpful. Everything is made from scratch in the restaurant. And the flavors are so vivid. She keeps her dining lobby very clean on a daily basis. “Read first! This is a DISCOUNT grocery store, so many, many of the items they sell are past the "Best Buy" date. But do your research online and learn that those dates are there for the manufacturers and NOT because the food has gone bad or expired.You can save tons of $$$ shopping here but don't go on the weekend unless it's early!1.10.24This is the BEST Mennonite discount grocery store around the lake, bar none.There is an amazing deli (incredible sandwiches for $6!!) huge fridge and freezer sections and shelves and shelves of spices, noodles, candies, household items, and everything in between.There's also a nice sized produce and dairy section.The caveat here is to look closely at every single "Best Buy" date. They range from a few weeks past date to a year or more if they are frozen. We have been buying groceries for well over 3 yrs and have NEVER had a problem.Every month, I make out like a bandit buying cheese & pepperoni sticks, those fancy egg bites ($1.25 each), today a a HUGE wheel of President Brie cheese was $2.25!!!But like a Marshall's or TJ Maxx, if you see something you like, GRAB IT because it may not be there next time.By and large, the ladies who work at the registers are friendly & very efficient.There is a huge array of dehydrated foods on the far left and they recent specials as soon as you walk in.There are clean restrooms, a place to sit after you order your huge sandwich and amazing prices. All around, A+++.”

“Best smoked wings anywhere.There are a few negative reviews for this bar and grill, but I suspect it's by people who don't go to bar & grill(s). The bartenders were all friendly and the cook even made sure my wings were as requested. All of the other guests sure seemed happy with.... everything.”
