We went several times and were about to write them off because of inconsistencies, but asked the waitress and figured out they change chef's. Go m-th and not on weekends. We had a fantastic meal and was like okay what is up. Glad we asked. A great local place to go for a great steak.

Update, we've been several times now and they seemed to have worked out the kinks. More consistent food every day and tonight it was just absolutely delicious.

I usually dont write bad reviews but I felt something needs to be said in hopes it gets better. I thought Coltons was great until last night. We came in for my birthday dinner and everything was off. We received our appetizer and the cheese wasn't even melted on the fries. Bite into it, cold fries, ugh. Then comes our salads, so many toppings, not enough dressing. OK! Hopefully our steaks come out great like last time. We both ordered our steaks medium. They came out well done. Atleast the rolls and baked potato were good. If I wouldve known the food was going to be this terrible I would've suggested Texas Roadhouse and made the drive there. Someone needs to do some serious quality control in the kitchen here. Please do better!

We eat at Coltons frequently, last night was the worst! My filet came out rare and after 30 minutes came back as well done and burnt. Manager brought it back, I sent it back and after another 35 minutes, received another filet rare, so after an hour, I left. All the manager said was she hoped we had a nice evening, wasn't hardly anyone there when we ordered,

I highly recommend this restaurant food was delicious they make their own alcohol whiskey I believe so hopefully I'm not wrong but it's delicious everything

Me and the wife really enjoyed our steaks. Cooked well with no sauce required because they were seasoned well. The cocktails crafted with Phantom V were highlights. Several of the wait staff felt like they went above for us. Very friendly

My personal favorite steak house in Missouri. I tell all my friends and family about it. The food is always great and affordable. Service is usually pretty good. Last time we went, we waited longer than I would’ve liked to get our menu and drink order. I don’t like it when I get sat at a table and then wait 10min to get our menu and drinks. But I’ll chalked it up as an anomaly. Always a pleasant experience

Not sure if it was deliberate or not, but the whole family ended up with food poisoning. Food was decent for the area, but, once it started coming out from the both ends, it became unbearable...will never visit again or recommend. And what steak house doesn't know difference b/t med and med rare.....
