“We didn't know about this place until we attended a birthday party here. It was fun and laid back. Everything was clean, and the bar tenders/workers were polite and helpful.We will be back!Kid-friendliness: The kids (4-16) all had a great time. There was connect 4, Jenga, air hockey, Foosball, and corn hole they could play (some costs up to $1), plus they got to throw ninja stars.”

“Decided to stop by Playa Azul while driving through town on the way home to KC. Was definitely not disappointed. The food is fantastic. The Camarones a la Diablo are the best I have had. My only complaint is that this joint is not in Kansas City. I would hit this place a couple of times a week if possible”

“Our first time, loved the atmosphere and uniqueness. We decided to stop in for an early dinner and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had amazing burgers and appetizers, also arrived quickly and everyone’s food was hot. The four of us had spicy green beans (they did have a little kick) and cheese curds for our appetizers. We had 2 Barney burgers, a Western burger and a Barney’s Beef Philly Dip. The draft beer hit the spot! (would have enjoyed a frosted mug)? We’ll definitely be back.”

“I had bone-in pork chop. I was asked my preference on how well done to cook it. Most places don't ask this with pork chops. I ordered medium. It was great tasting and easy to cut. It was cooked perfectly. I had mashed potatoes with white gravy which tasted like it was made at home, very good. It was busy at the time. I ate at the bar and the bar tender was very nice and the service was exceptional!!”

We called the restaurant and they told me that they were trying to find us on Facebook so we can get our wallet back. We are so grateful for them to do all that work for my son’s wallet. “Good food. I was happy with what I got. The service was great and the food was good. The chips kinda had a taste of old oil, maybe? I ordered the street tacos and rice and beans, the tacos we were great, and so were the rice and beans. I did feel like the meat was not very seasoned. I thought it was good. I just needed a little more seasoning. Overall, I am fairly satisfied with my visit here.”
